This is what I used for the drink portion of my colonoscopy prep. I was looking for something that had no dyes and less sugar and artificial flavoring than Gatorade. This was it. I would not get this just to drink normally, but it was perfect for its intended use.

Pedialyte does a great job rehydrating quickly and it has been reliable for both kids and adults in our house. The unflavored version is nice because it is not overly sweet, but it still has a distinct electrolyte taste that not everyone likes. It is easy to keep on hand, the 1-liter bottles are convenient, and the pack size is a good value. Overall, it works really well, just be ready for the taste.

I cannot believe how quickly this arrived! I rescued and rehabbed a baby bird and mixed this flavorless Pedialyte into the formula as well as administering it directly at times, until my bird flew the nest and became a fledgling. Product comes packaged very well and was a lot more than I anticipated, but there are always uses for it. Fortunately, it saves well unopened! It was very easy to use, mixed into the formula like water, and was suitable to supplement without added sugars and empty carbs. I used and stored it at room temperature and never faced a single issue with it.
