Received item in good working condition.

I use it for my spiral staircase. It can and it reacts both going down and up. Normal sensors would not work.I wish the mounting holes were distant enough to screw directly to a duplex box. (I made a hole to mount it)

I like that the adjustments are on the outside of device and easy to get at. I also like that there is a light that indicates when it has activated. Works well.

Not worth the money, the sensor went bust in just 3 days of use. Last night it switched on with no one walking in the lobby where I have installed. Despite the proximity sensor adjustment it switches on Iin broad Daylight and at night when no one is walking. Not worth the money. I had bought it thinking Amazon would ha e a solid quality control.earnt the hard way it is not. Will go for more branded and expensive product like Schneider ARGUS.
