I wanted a classic looking clock. It was a straight choice between this and the mondrain swiss railway style clock. That's white and this is black. It is silent in operation. I wish it came in more sizes - would have preferred bigger.

Looks good, I've not heard a peep from it.There is not much to say beyond this – the clock looks and functions exactly as I expected.A single AA battery is required and not supplied but since I tend to have rechargeable ones that was fine.The hole on the back for hanging on a hook or nail is a bit on the small side but it does work and the clock has been a great replacement for a very loud ticker.

This is a smart, simple yet stylish clock. I love the simple black frame and black face with small white numbers. I'm using this to replace a very tired old clock in my kitchen and this looks so great and works perfectly.It requires on AA battery which isn't included, I always think it would be nice if manufacturers included the required battery/ batteries but luckily we had one in. Would also be useful if it came with fixings to install perhaps as other clocks that I have bought have included this.A great clock, tells the time perfectly and looks very stylish. Recommended.

Funnily enough, I use this clock for telling the time. It does that very well!

Clock looks good, but quality is not great. It slows down over time. Braun sold this brand to some 3rd party company. Not recommended.
