No dust! Very, very uniform in size and color, smooth for tender bottom feeders. Attractive as can be!

I researched what substrate I wanted to use for a while before deciding on this and I'm very pleased with it. It's "white" sand but it's a a little beige which looks more natural for this area. It's also course enough that it doesn't float around the water or get in the filter. I rinsed it per instructions, which was easy because it was very clean. One 8L bag was not enough to cover my 37gallong 30x15 tank to my desired depth of 2 inches. I ended up adding a soil layer underneath along the back 2/3rds, with the front being deeper sand. I'm planning on loaches or catfish, which need a soft substrate. I can't wait to see them dig around in it.

This stuff is just beautiful, pricey but it’s very high quality and doesn’t dirty up your tank, super easy to clean yuck out of the sand as well.

Beautiful natural substrate for bioactive tank. Small enough to build terrain with but large enough to vaccum detritus from without the siphon sucking them all out. Took a while to rinse the dust off but you defintely want to do that before putting it in the tank.

Was recommended Controsand from an aquascaper and couldn’t be more pleased. I used Morocco in my daughter’s tank (pictured) and Pacifica in mine. Both are beautiful and worth the price.
