I mainly bought these for my orthopedic clinic to cut casting material, and the shears work perfectly. They're sharp, last a long time, and tough. They haven't let me down yet. The pen lights are decent lights too. One is a bright white LED, and the other is a yellowish color LED light. I like the white better, feel like it is brighter and gives me more visualization of the throat when I'm doing strep swabs in family med (I do float med with 8 specialties). Overall, great buy for the money!

Light weight, in my favorite color black and white. Easy to use. The grip for the scissors won’t hurt my fingers like some do and everything fits beautifully in my case. The lights are different colors. One is also a led light while one is a warm light. Both are very convenient depending of what the job and wound is calling for.

I bought this set mainly because I needed the basics for school while staying within a budget. It worked exactly as expected and having extra batteries included was convenient. The penlights and scissors have both done their jobs fine for clinicals and practice. The scissors are sharp enough for normal use, easy to grip, and simple to clean between uses. I also liked having the classy black and white options because it made my supplies easier to spot in my bag. Overall I think it’s a good starter kit for students or anyone needing basic supplies. In the future, if these eventually fail, I’ll probably upgrade to something a little higher quality and maybe less basic in color choices, but for the price this was a reasonable purchase.

I bought this set for nursing school and it was exactly what I I needed. Good quality product that has held up.
