Very good over a plate of microwaveable rice
Very good over a plate of microwaveable rice. Nice and hearty and a meal in under five minutes, and enough for two meals in one can and also a great burrito mix. Sorry to see the price went from $38 to $55 the week after I received it. I was surprised, the Hormel brand on this site is the same price as Walmart and when I run out I might order that from Amazon however a lot of the reviews state that brand is mostly gravy. Hereford is very meaty and tastes good, just watch for price fluctuations

Good Over Rice
While this is not what I would call fantastic cuisine, it's okay for the price. I would not eat it alone as a main course, but over some nice jasmine rice it's pretty darn good tasting. I can say that I would be highly recommending this to friends and family as a food source for long-term storage in the case of an emergency.

Canned Roast Beef
Terrific product - used this time as a donation to a food bank. I personally like this as its shelf stable and protein. Recipient can make tacos, burritos or just heat it up and serve. Easy for a single working mom to quickly make a protein meal for her family.

It's beef, enough said.
The meat is great. The gravy was strange. It's thick creamy goo. Never seen anything like that. Not a bad taste, just not what I would call gravy.
