Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.” Extras Entangled - Take a cosmic trip behind the scenes with cast & crew. The Production diaries - Join Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani for some on-set fun & candid moments. Gag Reel Deleted Scenes Audio Commentary - with director Nia DaCosta and VFX Supervisor Tara DeMarco Language 7.1 DTS-MD MA English / 2.0 Dolby Audio Described English, German Dolby Digital Plus Subtitles English for the hearing impaired, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish Review: Top Tier Marvel Entertainment - This movies is awesome, and didn't deserve one little bit of the hate it gathered upon release - that was down to a bunch of whiney little boys who can't deal with strong female characters front and centre. Amazing performances from the 3 leads; Larson giving us a flawed yet infinately likeable Captain Marvel, who, 30 years later, is still dealing with the abuse she suffered at the hands of the Kree Supreme Intelligence, showing that even superheroes get PTSD. Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau is honing her newly-acquired (Wandavision) powers as well as reconciling the feelings of loss and abandonment she feels towards Carol for leaving her when she was a child, and Iman Vellani is absolutely hands down the heart and soul of The Mavels - both the film and the superhero trio. The chemistry Larson, Parris & Vellani have on-screen is fun, energetic and is something that recent Marvel films have been missing - a cast that genuinely looks like they had the best time filming (and if you watch the BTS features, you can see that they did!). Also, this film is FUNNY! Other stand-outs; Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury 'babysitting' Kamala's family Dawe Ashton as Dar-Benn the film's villan chews up the scenery in a delightful manner Flerkins and an ingenious use of an Andrew Lloyed-Webber track The 'Switch Fight' editing was some of the finest i've seen in 2023, hats off to Evan Schiff and Catrin Hedstrom All in all, in the top 10 of Marvel films. Review: Enjoy the film if you're able, but don't watch the mid-credits scene ... - Better than we'd been led to think, not as good as it might have been. The villain was grandiose and the premise good enough, and Kamala's family were a delight as always ... but when the film ends, don't stay for the mid-credits scene. Just ... don't ...

Another Marvel comics movie. As ever you will need to have seen previous things first. In particular the film 'Captain Marvel.' However this also draws on events in tv shows 'Wandavision'. 'Ms. Marvel.' And 'Secret Invasion.' I haven't seen the latter three, but was able to get into this thanks to what I had read about them. Which might not be the same for all. So be aware. This is a twelve certificate thanks to the level of violence. So not really for the younger ones. Captain Marvel and Goose now patrol space looking for trouble. But things happen, and she Ms. Marvel her old friend Monica Rambeau plus Nick Fury are all drawn together to stop a cosmic threat. Or something. The internet hated this for usual reasons. It has three female main characters. That's about it though. It doesn't really push the point. There is one line that might seem to, but that is actually an American pop culture reference. This has good points: It tries to be quirky and imaginative. Which is either going to work for you or not. It does actually manage to develop the character of Ms. Marvel a bit. As she warms up a bit thanks to human interaction. Bree Larsson is quite good at playing here an unemotional person who develops a few. The visuals are great. The images of space grab. The fight scenes are stronger than in some of these films. You really feel as if the characters have been in a fight. Cats. If you love cats, you will love this film. Jeopardy. You do actually feel some in this. But some weak points: Back story. It references things that seem to have happened between Captain Marvel's last film and this. Which gets muddled. Pacing. It's too brief and too fast. It doesn't stick with any of it's ideas. It does touch on never meet your heroes. But then everyone gets over that. Nick Fury. Superspy once. Now comic relief. Which Samuel L. Jackson is very good at. But that's a waste of the character. The villain. Worst film villain ever. I can't even remember their name. The actress does what she can with what material there is, but they won't stick in your mind. Over familiarity: the general style of this is getting a bit familiar now. Ms. Marvel. She talks too much. Which is an annoying quality in people. No disrespect to the actress, I'm just not keen on the character. End credits. A scene clearly meant for the very end of those is now the end of the film. This film is seemingly meant to be cute and funny. It's neither. There is a decent mid end credits scene. But all you get at the end is a little something done with sound. If you lead your audience to expect you will deliver on something, you shouldn't then not. Not a terrible film. But not a film that really stuck in my mind for very long. I'm not going to give up on them after this. But I think they need to get back to the kind of storytelling that worked so well up to the end of Endgame. It's a disney dvd, so it has no extras. Subtitles; English. English audio captioned. Castilian Spanish. Danish. Finnish. Norwegian. Swedish. Languages: English. Castilian Spanish.

Everyone underestimates cats.
A brilliant film! As usual with the Marvel films, there are a few storylines intertwined to make up the whole one. A bit more light hearted, especially with the chaotic time jumping for our three heroes at the beginning. I had to look closely at my cat after the film had finished....well, you never know. Everyone underestimates cats.
