Says 5 pounds and 2 pack, that is 10 pounds but the shipping weight is 5 pounds. How much rice is there 5 pounds or 10 pounds?

Hi There is a total of 10 pounds of rice - 2 packages, each with 5 pounds.

is this sourced wild? or cultivated?

We just double checked with the manufacturer, it is cultivated. Thank you:)

Have you tested for lead?

No, we have not. We typically buy “real” wild rice (not this cultivated version) from a company that is protective of it’s sources. It’s a slight concern, but we don’t eat huge quantities. Since this Goose Valley rice is paddy grown under a more controllable situation we had not been concerned, but that may be naive on our part.

Is this 2 separate bags that weight 5lbs each= 10lbs, or 2 separate bags that weight 2.5lbs each = 5lbs?

Hi, It is 2 separate bags that weigh 5 pounds each.
