Florsheim Crossover Work, Men's, Steel Toe, EH, MaxTrax Slip Resistant, Casual Oxford Work Shoe

These were for my hubby who has trouble finding a good shoe that fits because of his wide feet. It’s even harder to find a nice dress shoe to go with his suits. We debated between a EEE, and the XX. We went with the XX and they were perfect. He slipped them right on and they didn’t even need the usual “breaking in” period—which has always been a pain. We are both pleased with this pair of nice leather dress shoes.

Shoes were nicely packaged, clean and in excellent condition. The quality of the shoe is also excellent. I’ve been wearing the shoes for about a week and they are comfortable. The shoe insert that the shoe comes with is a bit flat for my feet. I did put my custom inserts in eliminating this issue. I would recommend the shoes

I wanted a fancier shoe that had black soles (light soles are more casual in my opinion). I wear these with slacks and a button-down shirt, sometimes with a sports coat, in a business office setting. The shoes are made of high-quality leather and the fit is perfect as listed (size 13 for me). I am always worried about comfort with dress shoes, but I can wear these all day without foot fatigue. The sole cushioning is very good, and the leather around the ankle is reasonably soft and snug. The soles are rubber and have channels that provide grip on wet surfaces. I don't need this in the office but may be handy in other settings (food industry?). If you are looking for a top-quality dressier shoe, then I would recommend these. Was considering cheaper shoes made of less expensive material, but I am happy that I spent the extra money and I do feel like I got my money's worth.

Look so good I some how missed that they were steel toe!

I purchased it in size 12 EEE. It's large toe box is super comfortable for guys with swollen feet. Super comfy with no break in time at all! Soles were very squeaky at first, but this stopped after just a few hours of wear. Now they are super slip-resistant and a joy to wear. Great quality leather and superb construction, too. Highly recommended!

The reason I would not give these any more than a one star who is that first of all they described them to be slip resistant and that is absolutely not true at least after the first week. They are comfortable and very attractive, looking at first, but they get super scuffed up and dirty very quickly. I’m a general manager at a restaurant and I am on my feet all day in sometimes very slippery environments and need shoes to be not only comfortable but slip resistant and truly slip resistant in order to keep me safe at work.These shoes are comfortable, but for the price and the lack of slip resistance, I feel that they should change the description of the shoes so that people are not fooled into buying them. Either that or work on the technology to make them better slip resistant shoes.Lastly, I think they should work on a better material for the soul of the shoe as they tend to get a little bit dirtier than your average soul, and the white part is a little tougher to clean than most shoes like this.I took a few months before I wanted to write a review so that I could actually really work with them and see how they held up. I hope that the company finds this review helpful as well as the people that may potentially be a consumer of this product.

I ordered these in a wide size but they are not any wider than regular width shoes from any brand I’ve ever tried. I widened them with with a shoe stretcher (a must have for people with wide feet, IMO) and they have worked out great since. I haven’t even used my Super Feet insoles because the insoles were already comfy and supportive. The non-slip sole is not like I’m used to. They do keep you from slipping, but they are very stiff, more like hard plastic than rubber, which causes you to slide. This can be a fun feature but I’d rather my safety shoes be safe rather than adventurous.
