Annie's Homegrown Organic Macaroni and Cheese Shells, White Cheddar, 6 oz. (Pack of 12)

This has a bit of a learning curve with this to get it to turn out the way you like it, but having celiac disease, it's heavenly to have a meal that comes out of a box and to eat mac & cheese again! Once you get into your groove, you can eat in not much more than 10 minutes. I have found that stirring the pasta for the entire 10 minutes (less time = crunchy pasta) helps it cook evenly, and after having put it in the colander, stir it instead of tossing--it just doesn't toss. I add a sliver of butter with the milk and wow, it tastes great! I'm so enamored of it (as is my husband, who is not celiac) that I bought a 12-pack. Sure, it's more expensive than regular mac & cheese, but everything GF is. Thanks, Annie!

I recommend this because it's just as good as my memory of Mac and cheese with gluten. Also, I never know when they'll be out of it at the store, so now I buy in bulk.

These are easy to make, smell great and have exactly the texture I expect.

This mac and cheese is stupendous. I had never had any until I came home the other day and my wife handed me a bowl of white cheddar mac and cheese for dinner. I knew it would be gluten free because we don't eat gluten, so I wasn't sure if the noodles would be good, given that some GF products can be hit-or-miss. I was shocked when I ate the first bite of this. It is creamy and the noodles taste like real noodles--none of that stiff taste that some GF noodles are known to taste like. Another thing that makes this mac and cheese so delicious is that the cheese doesn't clump up like the cheese in other mac and cheeses do. Finally, the cheese has the perfect mix of richness and tartness. It has a nice taste and is a bit unusual (in a good and welcome way) for a mac and cheese mix. The icing on the cake: buying this 12-pack turns out to be $2 cheaper per box than our local grocery store. Downsides (there are a couple): (1) We're down to box 2 of 12. This shipment arrived within the past seven days, folks. (2) I've started making it for dinner now on more nights than I'd like to admit (see #1 immediately above for the result of that). Sadly, when I hand my wife her bowl of macaroni, she always asks with a glimmer of hope, "This isn't the WHOLE box, is it?" But it always is. It's darn near impossible to eat just one serving. So, we end up wasting 80% of our daily calories on whey, cultured pasteurized milk, non-animal enzymes, and sodium phosphate. Essentially, we can't go back to any other brand! It's delicious! And there's no comparison between this and Annie's single-serving microwave mac and cheese; this one is the clear winner.

My children love Annie's mac and cheese. We have to have GF and white cheddar due to allergies. Thank you Annie's!
