My new favorite earbuds
These are my new favorite earbuds. I can no longer wear the earbuds that go in my ears as they get very irritated. I was using Soundpeats for a long time but the pair I was using died. I decided to try these out as a replacement because they were on sale. The sounds quality is great. Music sounds great. My friends say the voice quality is great while we're doing video calls. I find the voice quality on my end just as great. They connect easily to Bluetooth & connect right back without fail to the last Bluetooth device I connected them to. (Only problem is that they do that & sometimes I forget if I use them with my phone to disconnect before going on my laptop.) Best of all is they last about 8 hours or more. My old earbuds never lasted anywhere near that long. These are ultra comfortable so much so that i forget that I have them on. I've left them on for like an hour after getting off a zoom meeting because I forgot they were there. They stay in place too, no matter how much I move around. The case is great too. It's sturdy & stays shut. It supplies about 3 full charges to the earbuds & charges via a USB-C cable which I just plug into my laptop. It shows the percentage charged of the case but not the earbuds. It does indicate when the earbuds are charging & when they're full. I think it takes about an hour or so to charge the earbuds. (Honestly I haven't times it because it's not often I use the full charge of them.) I bought another flavor of the Tozo open ear earbuds but I like these much much better even though the case is a bit larger. These have better sound quality and are more comfortable to wear. If you want to try it some affordable, high quality open ear earbuds then give these a try. I don't think you'll regret it.

Highly Recommend
Very comfortable! I forget I’m wearing them sometimes. Audio quality is very good for ear buds. I hesitate to say “ear buds” because you don’t shove them into your ears like regular ear buds. They sit nicely on your ears. I prefer these types of headphones with the hook over the ears. Battery life seems good so far. They easily connect to my iPhone 14. These TOZO headphones are a great bargain at $30 (what I paid).

My absolute favorite so far!
I was unsure if they would stay on because they feel like they’re just sitting on your ear. The sensation was unnerving for about an hour. Now I forget that I have them on. No more itchy ears. No ear fatigue. No more asking people to repeat themselves because my ears are plugged with speakers and I can’t hear. I wear Bluetooth earbuds/headphones all day, every day and with these I can hear my music, podcasts, phone calls etc. without blocking my ability to hear. The comfort is amazing once you stop feeling like it has to be jammed in your ear hole to be secure. The touch functions are perfect. Battery life exact time is unknown but it’s really good. I have them on from 7am to 4 or 5pm and I’ve never had a low battery warning. I usually put them in the case for 40 min to an hour after 4pm, then put them back on until after 10:00 pm. I call my wife when I walk out of work every day and with all 8 (various brands) of my other earbuds the wind noise drives her crazy. I couldn’t even crack my car window when I drive because the sound was always horrible and ruins my discussions. With these Tozo Open Air, the wind blowing across the microphones is not heard by her. I don’t understand how the wind isn’t a factor anymore but I’m beyond happy. The first day I used these I walked out of work to really strong wind and I immediately regretted calling before I got in my car, until I realized she couldn’t hear the wind. She said that she thought I was still in my office because my voice was perfectly clear. To me this is a huge win. I only talk on the phone through Bluetooth earbuds and these are the absolute best so far. Here is the worst thing I can say about these open air ear buds: I was listening to a movie in one earbud while driving and I wanted more volume but it was maxed out. The dialog was unusually quiet and my hearing is not the best, plus I had a lot of road noise. I pulled over and I was able to use the app to make eq adjustments and get more volume. That seems more like the movie’s problem. My music, YouTube videos, podcasts and streaming apps all sound great. My phone calls are better than ever. I will definitely recommend these to friends and family. My only concern is a good one to have. We can’t have earbuds on the production floor and I’m afraid to get in trouble because I keep forgetting that I have these on. I literally don’t feel them on my ears. An added bonus is that they don’t interfere with the frames of my glasses when I decide to wear them. Tozo has created some great products. I have 5 different models and I’ve purchased another 6 pairs for my wife and daughters over the past 4 years. Based on all these positive experiences I wanted my first open air devices to come from them and they’ve continued to keep me as a happy customer. I’m big into brand loyalty and Tozo is the only company I know that will offer me new products for free and all they ask in return is that I take the time to write an honest review. I’ll be back for more. I think it’s time to try one of their smart watches. I hope you get these and experience what makes Tozo one of my favorite brands on Amazon and the one brand I’ve returned to more than any other.

TOZO open ear headphones
Sound quality is very good when listening to music, videos, etc. Deep bass, crisp highs, I almost forgot they’re not actually in my ear, just sitting next to them. They feel like a quality product, nice materials fit and finish as every other TOZO product I’ve had. I got black ones, they have a nice contrast of gloss black and matte soft touch finishes. The case is nice looking, matte black with chrome TOZO lettering on the lid, with a nice opening and closing feel. The case is a bit larger than I’m used to having had several other TOZO earbuds previously(almost double what I’m used to) but not too large overall, about 3x3in square and roughly 1.5in tall. My previous TOZO earbuds had type c charging like this one, but also had wireless charging which these do not have. I like percentage battery life display on the front of the case compared to only dots or light flashes like some other models and brands. I also like that it shows you on the case like some of the other TOZO buds the state of charge of each earbud/earphone as well as the case percentage - those are in “battery lines” tho, but at least you can also see those in your phone anyway so they’re not necessary to have % displayed. If there’s not much ambient noise I can see them getting a bit annoying for others around you because they can kinda hear it too - like a VERY quiet Bluetooth speaker. Tried using the TOZO app as mentioned in the instructions to adjust the equalizer and sound settings, but I could not notice any difference in sound. No bass changed, no treble changed, it all sounded the same to me. Used some of the presets and also manually adjusted the EQ, but nothing I could notice changed. So far the calls I’ve tried to do with just the headphones are terrible. The sound I hear is very quiet - barely audible. Not sure on their end because I kept ggettong hung up on because I couldn’t hear them and they got tired of saying “yes I hear you”, so I had to switch to phone or loudspeaker. Their fit leaves something to be desired for me, I wear glasses and have longer hair - just to my shoulders so I can’t put it all in a pony tail properly. They keep getting tangled in my hair when trying to put them on and with the glasses they keep either fitting loose if the glasses are on the inside, or make my head hurt after a while because the glasses are outside of them and my head keeps getting squished. I also tried them without my glasses for a bit just to see how they fit and feel. They fit better around my ears, but again with longer hair they keep kinda being in the way. I guess that’s just the nature of AROUND the ear headphones vs OVER the ear headphones or earbuds IN the ear. I tuck my hair behind my ears so they keep getting tangled on the hair and, like with the glasses, it’s hard to put the hair behind my ear and if I put my hair back and then the headphones then they don’t quite fit right because the hair is there. It takes forever to put them on because I have to take off hat, glasses and move my hair around bunch of times and adjust the headphones like 3 times before they’re ok. Also anytime I have to readjust my hair or glasses I keep knocking them off my ears, partly because I’m still getting used to the earphones being there, and partly because they’re on loosely around the ears so they get really annoying quickly if I’m being active. I bet with short hair, or if your hair is long enough to fully keep in a pony tail, braids etc they would stay better. I understand they have to make a generic fit product, it can’t just be tailored specifically to only my ears, or they’d never sell any, and custom fit would be too complicated, expensive and time consuming. Overall they feel very light, and by themselves they feel somewhat comfortable but for me they feel very unstable like they’re going to just fall out any second. Not too tight around the ears so they don’t hurt my ears or my head, but still feel loose. I tried to use them with the silicone “braces” they provided(supposed to be for more active use, to help keep them in place more securely), but they feel even less secure in my ears. Because of the long hair and glasses they just don’t sit where they need to be, so they don’t “hook” properly in my ears and fall out every time I turn my head quickly and it’s not very pleasant or comfortable for me. I’ve noticed when I put them in the case they sometimes still just keep playing and sound like the world’s weakest Bluetooth speaker - which they kinda are by design…if you think about it. So I’ve had to keep checking they’re actually charging in the case, instead of in my pocket wasting battery.

Speakers, Bluetooth/Phone Calls, Noise Cancelling Excellent.
I have purchased 2 pairs of these headphones. I thought I had lost the first set, and decided to purchase them again base d on the overall performance. I had purchased the black color (same style as the second pair) originally, but decided to go with the blue pair the second purchase. My notion was, if I happen to find the black pair ( I did happen to find them) I could differenciate the sets by color. I usually wear one at work because I am required to hear people and noises around me. They function very well with only one being utilized at a time, but I would say you do have to trade all functionality for finger to headphone operation. Flaws: The left side turns the volume down, the right has volume up function. The left side adujusts songs back to previous song, the right jumps to the next song. Other functions correlate with the same premise. I would like to adjust the functionality by assigning them to my preference and style of listening. I downloaded the app in hopes I could do something like this. I am not. In fact, the headphones tout you may adjust the equalizer within the app. The truth is, I downloaded the app, but was unsuccessful with using the equalizer at all. Every attempt I made to assign the equalizer was repeatedly received with the message stating "device not compatible." Note: the options from other users for equalizer settings was available, but when attempting to assign, I received the message as stated above Another problem with the app is preset specific equalizers for music, speech, instrumental, etc... were not options. The only way to get equalizers was to utilize the settings other app users presented, or to develop your own. I don't have the time, ear, or knowledge of equalizer/soundwaives to do all of that. I know basics like Hip Hope uses a lot of bass, Heavy Metal, more treble, my basic knowledge is not good enough for my personal devlopment. Future App Development, AKA App developer: I just want to pick Jazz, or Audio book, or Classical/Instrumental equalizers and the like by selecting a preset. Positives: Headphones sound exellent with the regular equalizer settings. Waterproof (I accidentally wore them in the shower) but must advise not to put wet earphones in the case-charger. I like the ability to adjust the earphones in and out, up and down. The earphones are comfortable. The black and blue colored ones are gender neutral. The case holds a 40 hour charge, and the earphones will sustain 12 hours of continual use. I usually listen with them for around 8 hours while I work. The connection within the charging case is wonderful. The Bluetooth connection is easy and is listed as Tozo. Once they are connected, within Bluetooth a message expains device is paired to phone, and music. While using only one headphone, I am able to answer my phone, and disconnect. I can also hear when notifications like texts arrive. I don't often check my phone, hear, or feel vibration when I receive a text and it may take a whole day before I discover I received one. The phone helps me check the phone more often, when I may be needed. I really like how easy pressing the earphones is. I often have to touch them to pause my amazon music stream while I interact with other people at work. One touch, pauses the thing and another unpauses. When I wear them while mowing my lawn or tilling, I can hear the music while the motor noise is diminished substanially. I love that. Overall: I wish I could program the functions into each headphone. Standard Equalizer needs to offer professional manufuactured options (not only other users equalizer preferences and development. You really have to listen to a lot with the music you enjoy to find one that works. Too much work in my opinion. Was unable to connect the headphones to even another users equalizer offerings. I really like these.

These changed my view of open-air headphones. Highly recommended!
For the past several years, I have listened to music and podcasts primarily through true-wireless noise canceling earbuds, including TOZO NC7s as well as high-end offerings from Jabra and Sony. While those have been great for working in noisy environments such as mowing the lawn or using my woodworking tools, my partner frequently complains that she can’t get my attention because of how well the noise canceling works on those devices. So when I heard about the concept of open ear headphones, I decided to give them a try despite my skepticism as to whether the sound could possibly be as good as it was with my earbuds. Having had prior good luck with TOZO products, including multiple sets of earbuds and the TOZO PB2 PD Fast Charging Power Bank, I thought it would be worth a try to check out the TOZO OpenEgo true wireless open-air headphones. They arrived promptly in packaging that was nice without being wasteful. The case is by necessity rather large, but the headphones fit in very neatly and the magnets are adequate to hold them without being so tight as to resist removal. In addition to clear instructions, the package included a USB-A to C cable and a pair of open-cell foam “braces” that fit snugly on the back end of the headphones to provide a more secure fit during vigorous exercise. Since the headphones are comfortable either with or without the braces, I just leave them on all the time. And because these headphones don’t fit within the ear canal, there is no need for the multiple sizes of earbud tips necessary for in-ear headphones. At first it seemed strange that the speaker portion of the headphone doesn’t touch the ear canal at all, but I was immediately impressed by the sound quality. The sound is very balanced, with adequate bass without the “boominess” often present with tightly sealed earbuds. I also feel that the sound stage seems larger and more three dimensional than many earbuds. And my main concern, that ambient sound would interfere too much with the music, turned out to be no problem at all in most environments. Meanwhile, my partner is happy that she can now get my attention when I’m listening to music with the OpenEgos. I haven’t done a quantitative test of battery life, but my first impression is that the battery life is more than adequate and charging times are reasonable as well. While open-air headphones won’t replace my noise-cancelling earbuds for activities in noisy environments, these OpenEgo headphones have certainly found a place in my toolbox of listening devices. In summary, based on my initial listening experiences and my excellent prior experience with TOZO product reliability and customer service, I would highly recommend these TOZO OpenEgo open-air headphones. I was initially skeptical of the open-ear headphone concept, but these OpenEgos certainly changed my opinion, and if you share that skepticism, I think they will change your mind as well. PS: My cat liked them too (see photo)

I really want to love these, but for small ears they don't stay on during strenuous activity.
I bought a set of the OpenBuds in March, 2024 and have really enjoyed them; I live in a downtown neighborhood, and when I'm using these doing the roadwork portion of my workouts the situational awareness that open-ear earbuds provide are really necessary for me. As a woman with a smaller-than average head, neck, and ears, the OpenBuds were a great alternative to bone-conduction headsets, which rarely fit me snugly enough to stay in place. And I always have problems making in-ear earbuds stay during a workout - even with memory foam eartips - so the over-ear clip was always going to be a winner for me. When I saw this upgrade, I thought I'd give them a try. Much like I found with the OpenBuds, the sound quality is great, and they pair really nicely with my phone. However, no matter how I adjust them - even with the provided stabilizers - they simply will not stay in place during workouts. I have to wear a headband to keep them in place, which I don't mind doing with in-ear earbuds, but the large hook piece for the back of the ear makes that really uncomfortable. If I hook them with the hook set closer to my lobe, the sound isn't as optimal as it is if I push it closer to mid-ear. Basically, this is a fit issue - if they don't fit your ear shape, then they simply aren't going to work well for you. So I'll save these for just ambling around the neighborhood, but for workouts, I've gone back to my OpenBuds since they're more secure. So I'm giving these 2 stars - I think these are a decent brand of earbuds, but this form factor isn't the best. Update, 3/17/26: This morning I received an e-mail from the seller, letting me know they refunded my purchase price on these! I did NOT expect that at all and it's really appreciated. Especially considering I've had them for 3 months now so I'm pretty sure that's outside of the return window. After I initially posted this, I actually bought the OpenWear buds - with a more traditional hook, I'm finding they fit much better - so I'm really pleased with the customer service. (I'll review those eventually, but I like to use them a while before I do.) So I'm upping this review to 3 stars, based on this very positive customer service experience. I still stand by this being an awkward form factor that may not suit everyone's ears, but am otherwise pleased with the functionality of my over-ear TOZO earbuds, and pleasantly surprised the seller reads the reviews and wanted to make me happier with my purchase.

Good Open Ear headphones but not perfect.
I am looking for an Open Headphone to replace my in-ear buds. After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of SHOKZ and other Bone Conduction headphones, I choose the TOZO Open Ear, an Air Conduction. There are some amazing things about this open-ear headset, but there are also some shortcomings that I find very frustrating. First, the pros: 1: Very comfortable to wear. During the six hours of continuous wearing, I didn't even know I was wearing headphones if it wasn't for the music still playing in my ears, I'm a glass wearer, but the ear-hanging design doesn't prevent me from wearing glasses. Comfortable to wear, in a couple of days, there has been no case of headphones falling, and only in the fifth and sixth days of use, I do feel a little discomfort in the ear. Light, fully customized Angle adjustment for comfortable wear. This one is rated 4.5/5 2: Sound quality. I am amazed at the sound quality. I do not expect such excellent sound quality for this kind of air-conduction headphones, especially for the bass. This one is rated 5/5 3: Microphone. The quality of the microphone is quite good, in the actual use of the process, in the noisy road, warehouse, machine conveyor belt, and another high-noise environment, the other party can hear my voice, and told me that environmental noise is not serious, visible microphone noise reduction does play a role. This one is rated 5/5 4: TOZO APP. The TOZO APP provides additional handling and sound quality features for certain models of headphones, increasing the added value of these headphones. What I appreciate most is that you can customize the touch function in the APP, or directly disable the touch function, which has the same function as Samsung buds. This function is very useful. For example, I will completely disable the touch function, so as to prevent misoperation caused by rain drops on the touch panel outdoors in rainy days. Unfortunately, the EQ adjustment options of Open Ear in TOZO APP are very limited, which is quite different compared with other TOZO products, such as TOZO Openreal, which is also Air Conduction. This one is rated 4/5 5: Customer service. TOZO APP provides a customer service function, through which you can directly report problems in use to customer service and try to find solutions. Although not all problems or faults can be solved by customer service, my personal satisfaction with customer service is still relatively high, compared with the customer service of more than 10 different brands of headphones I have purchased. In this category, I think TOZO's customer service can get 4.5/5 Now for the cons: 1: The battery case does not provide a wireless charging function, which feels very regrettable, because as such beautifully designed and high-quality headphones, the battery case can only be charged through the plug, and the battery case does not have a battery remaining display, the user does not know the percentage of battery remaining. This one is rated 3.5/5 2: Headphones battery life. After the headphones are fully charged, their battery life is not as the official publicity, which is Up to 12 hours of playback on one charge. However, in my actual use process, the battery of one side of the headphones will run out randomly after about 5 to 6 hours. Yes, it is random. For example, this time, both my headphones are fully charged, and the APP shows that the power of both the left and right sides is 100%, and then playback continues. About 5-6 hours later, the battery of one side of the headphones still had about 30%~40% power, but the other side's battery was almost dead. When you put both headphones into the battery case to charge again and connect the USB-C to charge the battery case at the same time, even if it lasts for a whole night when you use it the next day, it is likely to prompt the other side of the headphones to run out of power after about 5 hours of use and observe the APP again, the other side of the headphones still has about 30% to 40% of the power. No matter how many times you manually sync the left and right headphones by pressing both at the same time, you can't fix the problem. This one is rated 2/5 3: Bluetooth automatically reconnects. In some cases, the phone can be set to airplane mode for a few minutes, when the airplane mode is turned off, the TOZO open cannot automatically reconnect the phone, even if the connection is manually selected in the Bluetooth control of the phone, the only way is to put two headphones into the battery case, cover the battery case, and then open the battery case. The headset will successfully connect to the phone again. This one is rated 1/5 Combining the above eight items, the average score is 3.68, which is about the level of 4/5.

So far, so good!
Might take a little bit getting use too, like any kind of new ear tech, but man those pack a punch! The bass is just great, especially low bass ahhh, so good without the closed ear headache inducing pressure. The box and the gear feels premium. Most important, I LOVE the ear support addition with the light silicone covers with a little part sticking out to tug to your lowers upper ear, which I found essential if you wanna lay down on your back without the ear pieces falling out. The battery charding and draining time is very reasonable, on the higher level of efficiency for sure.

Muuuuuy recomendables
