I debated on buying it because it was a little bit more but I liked that it had the elbow attachment. I wondered if I would use it or not. I’m glad I got it. It’s large so if you have a larger arm it’s comfortable. As anyone with this condition knows, the hand swelling causes severe pain and severely limits the possibility of trying to exercise the hand. The hand needs to be kept elevated most of the time to avoid this. Regular pillows don't really help anywhere near as much as this grooved arm elevator. The shape of it and extras it has make it far more effective. Sometimes things I buy on Amazon are not always what they promise to be, but this item was exactly as it was described. I gove it a 5 out of 5. There are other similar arm elevation pillows on Amazon BUT they often don't have the gel pack, the extra gel insert pillow, or the elbow rest. Those features are what makes this hand elevation device better than the rest. When we opened the plastic, the pillow quickly snapped into the proper shape and size which tells me that the materials used are quality. The outer cover is very soft and comfortable. They used the perfect material to cover it.
