Great addition along with gochujang
The flavor of this item ice better than I expected. I mixed this with gochujang, evoo and garlic tuna, dried parsley, black pepper, and two American cheese slices with kaidong brand noodles and homemade garlic chili oil crisp and it was yummy. I cannot say if it’s authentic as I’ve never had it before. I got it for a recipe I wanted to make then forgot which recipe. It wasn’t spicy it has a sweet & savory flavor. I will definitely be purchasing this again

Good umami flavor for Korean or any meat dishes!
No Korean BBQ should be alone and this is the perfect companion to good Korean meat. It’s straight up umami and not spicy, like gochujang but sort of smooth and creamy. I use it in Japanese stir fry and with my Korean lettuce wraps with a bit of beef, some radish, carrots, and some kimchi all rolled up together. Delicious! Highly recommend this particular brand because it’s what the restaurants use.
