Feels solid, nice shiny yellow paint! I found that I immediately wanted to use it and it has helped with a lot of exercises other than just dips and lateral pullups. I use it for stability during hip airplanes and other exercises where I am not yet strong enough to maintain stability! It doesn't take up too much space.I am a little bit baffled by the design choice for the pins - the threads on the part holding the pins, when tightened all the way, stick too far into the tube and block the little joining piece from entering, so I have to leave them only partially threaded.My tip? Slide the joining tube in before you install the pin. Line up the holes, then place the pin in and hand-tighten. Otherwise it's really awkward to adjust. Also, you cannot use this very well without the joining piece or the bars will tip away from each other.

This is a great product and company. I was impressed with the precision of the drilling and the fasteners as I put it together. I barely had to refer to the instructions. It is very sturdy and well-made overall. Now that I have it in my spare room I realize that I can do a number of different exercises on it. Not only dips and pull-ups. But also half push-ups and calf raises because it gives me a support as I go on my tiptoes. Money well spent.

TLDR: It's unstable, but it does the job and it does it well enough for a 4 star. For the price ($47 at the time) I spent I'm not mad.Little bit longer review: This thing quakes under my 'whopping' (sarcasm) 135 -140 pound frame no matter how sturdy I hold myself and that was alarming at first. I've since gotten used to it and that's fine, if anything it leads to more muscle engagement slow and steady; or I could just place a couple of weight plates on it and call it a day. Other positive notes is it's size, fits in my home gym space well and stores away easily. Even came with some extra screws and washers, only needs an allen key to put together which is supplied by the manufacturer. It was super easy to put together took maybe 15-20 minutes from unboxing to complete product. I don't know if I'd buy one again if this one fails me in time I'd likely just try a different style (like a power tower), but I also don't foresee that happening any time soon.

A bit unstable, but not as much as rings. Dips, planche practice, front levers-- all possible 2 steps away from my laptop. I love this thing.

Good choice

We just purchased this dip station and was able to assemble it pretty easily. It feels quite sturdy overall, with some wiggle that was adjustable with changing the tightness of our screws. The company has been awesome to work with to get an extra support bar as I wanted to see if this can further help stabilize our station, so I have nothing but joy with using this product thus far. We tried it out today, between myself, my partner, and my niece (weight ranges from 110-205lbs) and no issues at all. Dips, L-holds, and pull ups were all a fantastic addition to our workout and we all eagerly look forward to using this more often with our workouts! Definitely recommend!

Awesome little workout equipment that I had been lokking for.

I bought these thinking as they were more expensive, they'd be better quality.They aren't stable. Not really safe to use.

How can I get a replacement part? I lost one of the spring loaded locking mechanisms. The unit is excellent...my fault.
