I highly recommend this for hot days on the trail. I used this on a 85F day for about 2 hours and still had ice in it when I got back to the truck. Plus the way you can easily open it up and drink from it with the inside tube giving it plenty of air to let the water flow out quicky was nice. And weight wise it was light enough to me. Totally worth it.

Now that I started cycling this bottle is in top of my list of best products i bought from amazon it keeps my mix brinks and watter cold for a very long time dich the plastic bottles wase of money this aluminum bottle is your money’s worth.

This works great. There is a noticable loss of volume compared to a plastic bottle. The water stays cold and after you drain this bottle there is enough ice left to fill it from another bottle and still have cool water. You have to turn it all the way up but the water just flows out with no squeezing. I had to buy adjustable plastic water bottle cages for it though. I can still remove and replace while riding.

Seals perfectly, no leaking when transporting in my bag and when using in vehicle. Opens/ closes easily. Functional for bike riding. Water stays cool, tastes great! Design fits drink holder on bike. Overall great quality.

Is like to clarify something: water does not flow through the straw, air does.This bottle has a deep valve well like all Camelback water bottles, this is the source of a little water being left in the bottle. This design is required for the silicon valve, and bike bottles that don't have a silicon valve still have a well for the plastic valve. If you use bike bottles, it's a non-issue.Camelbak products have always been great and have never failed me. I use their biking bottles, backpacking bottles, reservoirs, and cleaning kits. I've got a vacuum insulated backpacking style bottle that gets beat up Mon-Fri, and it doesn't seem to care. I've attached an image of it for reference. BTW, love their mag lock caps. Finally something that keeps caps out of your face while drinking.

For years I’ve been using the Camelbak Podium water bottle, which was fine, but on hot days kept water cold for perhaps 2 hours. The new metal insulated bottle, however, is vastly superior. Even on the hottest and longest summer bike rides, the water stayed cold for the duration. I highly recommend this product.

I bought 3 of these for Christmas gifts. They have substantial weight and are not flimsy. The water bottles keep drinks nice and cold for a long time. My grandsons say they are a perfect fit for the brackets on their mountain bikes.
