I’m a superintendent for a commercial GC. I spend 10-12 hours a day 5-6 days a week in an office setting and the field (mostly field) on concrete, dirt, and finished floors. I’ve attached pictures of my Redbacks after 15 MONTHS of wear!! These boots were comfortable RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX! The elastic was a little tight for the first couple of days (not uncomfortably so) so you can’t just slip your foot in, it takes a little work. The pull tab on the back is handy and STRONG. I have worn Georgia Boots, Ariat, Red Wing, and just about every brand and style in between and these Red Backs are now my ride or dies!! You can’t put a price on comfort for your feet or a good nights sleep and I will gladly continue to pay for these boots! In the past, I was going through 2 pair of boots/year...see the pics after 15 MONTHS and still just as comfortable with plenty of sole. I haven’t had to use any special inserts, either. I can’t rate these boots any higher, or I would! I wish I had more hands...I’d give them 4 thumbs up! Oh, and I mink oil them about once a month, but have missed a month or two. They do run BIG, though. I actually ordered a size DOWN from my normal size. Usually a 10-1/2, but my pull tag says 9-1/2 ( it could be Australian sizing.) BUY THESE BOOTS!!
