Great choice for making grain powders
I purchased this to make some powders from grains like corns and buckwheats. The grinder is made of solid materials and very easy and safe to use. It can grind up to 150grams at a time and to 50-300 mesh depending on your choice. At a speed of 25k round/min, it can complete the grinding in minutes. Just make sure the grains are dry and cool the machine down between each use and you will certainly enjoy the meal!

Good quality
This little grinder works great for grinding. Turns wheat, nuts, and spices into powder in seconds, very easy to use. It's stainless steel and super easy to clean. Perfect for making fresh flour or grinding coffee beans.

A Little Beast.
As things continue to increase in price, finding ways to becoming less dependent on ready-made goods becomes an ideal way to save money. This includes baked goods, even cosmetic and soap products. Preparing your own foods also leads to the use of more natural and safer ingredients.I’ve been making our own breads for sometime now, most of the time using King Arthur’s bread and all-purpose flours, that I usually order from Amazon. They make a good product, and they are an employee-owned business, but even their prices have gone up considerably, just like everything else. So, when I saw the Insley Grain Mill become available, I ordered it without hesitation; I enjoy new challenges and learning opportunities too. When you mill your own flour, you are benefitting from the whole grain; it also opens a world of possibilities for using and mixing different varieties of traditional and ancient grains for a healthier lifestyle. The Insley Grain Mill is a table top beast. I went to the Whole Grains Council Website (wholegrainscouncli.org) to find grain suppliers, but have not yet received my first order. In the meantime, I’ve used the Insley to mill oats that I had on hand, and coffee. In both cases, it ground them to a fine powder, and quickly too. I’ve noticed that prior reviewers lamented that the mill was not supplied with any grinding times for various grains. It isn’t, but some basic starting times can be found on the Amazon point-of-purchase page that are helpful. The Insley Grain Mill is attractive on the table top and is of a basic, down to earth design that is simple to operate. Put the grain into the grinding hopper, replace the stainless-steel top and lock it down with the adjustable levers, set the timer to the desired duration, and the grain is milled using blades and a powerful, high rpm motor. When finished grinding, the mill has a handle that allows it to be lifted in order to pour the grain from the hopper. A brush is supplied to help remove the fine grain, but looks suspiciously like an industrial paint brush, rather than a food grade utensil; I use a silicone brush I had on hand. There is no safety switch to prevent the grinder blades from turning when the top is removed, so be careful to unplug it when the top is off. One thing I found annoying is that there are a couple of stickers on the grinder that seem intended to be taken off, but the adhesive used to attach them is very difficult to remove, and if not, denigrates the aesthetic of the grinder. The Insley Grain Mill is supplied with a spare set of blades, spare carbon brushes (I wonder where to get more of those if needed), a wrench, the aforementioned brush, and a user manual, mostly full of warnings. The grinder makes a very useful addition to a working kitchen and opens a world of cooking fun. Check out the Whole Grains Council Website for ideas and recipes.

Came as expected
Product came as expected. Grinds my wheat berries fast and fine. There’s a good bit of powdery residue that flies while in use, that could be user error. Doesn’t take much counter space. It is fairly loud as it grinds, but the process only takes a minute and is so worth the sound.

Very bad
It stopped working after just three months! I strongly advise against buying it, as it would be a waste of money. The primary issues are with the switch and the electrical wiring connecting the motor to the switch. The wiring is poorly managed, posing a constant risk of fire and electric shock. On a positive note, the outer body is well-designed, and the motor itself is of good quality. However, the manufacturer needs to address the internal wiring and switch system to make this product reliable and safe.

A must buy for healthy living
One of the best product high value for money. I grind some grains really good grind quality. It is very easy to clean after every use. Make sure to lock it properly before you start it that will be the main thing I want every one who are planning to buy this has to know. After grinding the grains, the flour taste fresh cannot compare with the store bough ones.
