I'm not a collector or anything but this razor is so nice I've got to imagine it's hard to beat at any price. The bead blasted texture and milling on the handle makes it very easy to hold wet or dry. As far as the shave goes, again Im no expert, but I would call it a medium as far as mild or aggressive goes. This company's soap and razor stand, I can also highly recommend.

Excellent quality product, it makes a cheap razor blade perform like samurai sword. The brass is of the best quality and price is unreal, quality single blade razor, that you can use for a lifetime, this is the one.

I bought this Bayonetta model hoping that it would perform as well as my other The Goodfellas safety razor. Unfortunately, regardless of which blade I put in it, it fails to impress.

Update: the new Maxwell June DE razor (EX plate) have become a better razor for me, and it is made out of stainless steel in the USA! This is in my top 5 safety razors ever and that is including vintage English Aristocrat, Fatboy, Slims, Super Adjustable and many modern razors too (Blackbird, Henson, etc.) I shave mostly with Nacet and Personna GEM blades and in this specific razor they perform fantastic, I just hear the razor removing the stubble efficiently without the sensation that the blade is scraping the skin, great experience. As always, I recommend using an artisan shaving soap for better lubrication while shaving. The Dovo Primo safety razor is another option in this price range and it is a little more efficient and aggressive than the Bayonetta, but Dovo is made out of cheaper Zinc alloy unfortunately.

This is a great razor. It’s made of brass and it’s beautiful. It’s got some weight. It gives a nice smooth effortless shave. I highly recommend this razor.

Bayonetta is my new favorite razor. Feels mild on the skin, but is very effective. It is engineered fantastically and is perfect for a drama-free shave. No blade chatter, no rough feeling on the skin, no irritation. I get a smooth feeling when I shave against the grain — with other razors, this maneuver caused the most issues. But not anymore.

This is a wonderful tool which I would not hesitate to use each and every day. The razor is very comfortable and even with pretty aggressive blades it is quite comfortable. Perhaps not the most comfortable razor in existence, but certainly well above average comfort level, in my opinion. I enjoy the heft of the razor and the ease with which is glides over my face. It is not slippery when wet, which is important and to me at least feels good in the hand, i.e. has a good balance. I cannot recommend this razor enough.

Después de cuatro afeitados, puedo decir que la Bayonetta es suave y apuradora. Debido a la forma o geometría de su cabezal, curva mucho más la navaja DE (me tomó los cuatro afeitados para encontrarle el modo) y, por su anclaje, la hoja se siente mucho más firme, que por ejemplo, en una de tipo mariposa. En mi caso, en ocasiones aplico algo presión, y al tener exposición positiva, me resulta un tanto agresiva. La Bayoneta es sin duda, muy disfrutable.

This razor provided a smooth and effecient shave. It takes some effort to align the blades due to loose tolerance. But once done, the razor is a excellent performer.

Espectacular maquinilla, buen tacto, manejable, no resbala, peso adecuado. Con la salvedad que no apura en barba dura. Fabricada en latón, por lo que con el tiempo genera patina, dándole un color retro

I own 3 dozen razors, many are far more expensive than the Bayonetta. None of them are better than this fantastic razor. I absolutely love everything about this fine ahaving razor. It is efficient yet very smooth. Nice weight, beautifully made. It is a Farrari at the price of a Ford.

Looks great, but easily the worst performing razor that I have ever used and shockingly so, regardless of blade. Stick with Parker, Merkur, etc.
