***UPDATE*** So i forgot to come update. It's only been two years! LOL I still really love these gel polishes! I have even purchased more since I left my original review. I've even gotten rid of my old brands that i was using. They wear and last so well! I will definitely keep using this brand for as long as they make it! And a tip for those of you who might be having problems... your nail bed prep is literally the most important step! Go watch a YouTube video if you don't know how. If you're struggling with application or how long it lasts on your nails I guarantee it's not the polish! It's probably your prep technique or you're not using the right amount of polish. AGAIN...PREP YOUR NAIL BEDS PROPERLY, then do thin layers. You can do multiple layers if you need to! ❤️ I have been a nail tech for ten years now and decided to try something different after finally getting tired of fighting with my old "professional" brand. I purchased this product with my own money and am not being compensated in any way for my review. That being said I am seriously impressed with the beetles line of gel polishes! I purchased several of their different sets this last week and have been extremely happy with everything I have tried so far. Everything came in pristine condition, safely packed in a beautiful box with detailed instructions on how to use the product as well as troubleshooting tips. There is a nice variety here between cream, glitter and jelly options and the wide variety of colors. All of the polishes applied like a dream. I put two coats of color on all of the swatches but there were a couple of the cream pastels that I could have gotten away with only one coat. Even the chunky glitters went on smoothly and required minimal fuss to get the glitters even. This set also comes with a base coat, glossy top coat and a matte top coat all of which were top notch products as well! The base coat seems to do its job and the gloss top coat went on smoothly, leveled itself out well and is nice and shiny. The real star of the show for me was the matte top coat! This is the first one I found that goes on and cures with no streaking! If you're on the fence or confused about the many options of gel polishes available here on Amazon, just stop looking and buy this one! You won't be disappointed! I will update my review with how well the polish wears and how long it lasts after I have done a set of nails with them.

Let me start off by saying, I ordered this same brand about 6 years ago when I decided I wasn’t going to continue to be ripped of by nail salons, I didn’t really have the time or the cash with young kids to be going all the time. It was decent then, but I felt like it really didn’t hold up as well as salon quality polish. Fast forward 6 years later, back and forth with the salons and also trying different high quality salon name brand gel products at home that didn’t always last either…We’re back! So, I ordered this gel pack at the request of my 8 year old daughter who wanted better/more nail color options, she wasn’t having the neutral ones I had purchased over the years. I don’t know if Beetles changed their product ingredients, but I am SO happy I decided to try out their product again!! We are going strong on day 5 of this gel polish(insert photos). We have had swim lessons, hard summer kid play, many hand washes. I have done several batches of dishes, hair washes, cleaning with products, and I also use a nail brush when washing my hands and my nails look as good as they did when I polished them 5 days ago!! I’m mean, literally SHOCKED. The colors in this pack are so pretty and I only needed to do one application of each product (base, gel, top coat) Disclaimer: I did prep my nails prior, file, buffed the nail and used a dehydrator or rubbing alcohol works and you do need your own UV LED lamp to cure the gel between each application. I feel like this polish has definitely helped strengthen my nails. I can attest, as I am trying to grow back a middle nail that got slammed in a car door and broke off completely. Currently trying to regrow and it was so gross and ugly pre polish, but this gel polish has given it hope. I am so beyond pleased with this gel polish, I will definitely be ordering more colors! I was able to snag this pack on semi sale, and I feel like a winner because the whole pack cost less than just one of the salon quality polishes I’ve been using.

I absolutely ADORE Beetles products. I have everything from the polygel to the gel polish to the tips and glue. Everything beetles is so easy to use and you learn so much through trial and error. When I first started using the gel I could barely get it to stay on more than one day. My current set has been on for a full week! Everything you need comes in this box besides a lamp, I use the SunUV and I adore it. I’ve used it for about two years now and it works wonderfully. This set of gel colors has quite the selection. Many bright colors and I love that you can choose the shiny or matte top coat! I’ve used one of these colors every two weeks for probably the last two months. As I said I’m still getting used to how much polish per coat and how to apply it, but it took me nearly 6 months to figure out polygel, so I am not worried! Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good gel polish! Heads up, when you first start, they will most likely peel until you figure out how to apply it properly. The bottles of polish in the sets are very small in size but they do last a long time since you need such thin coats.

I got this set because I wanted more color options for doing my nails at home and it did not disappoint. The colors are really cute and you get a good mix, so you can switch it up without having to buy a bunch of separate bottles. The polish goes on smooth and is nice and thick. I used the white first and it passed my thickness test. I only used 2 coats. It cures fine under my lamp. I’ve used a few of the colors so far and they all came out nice and glossy. There is also a matte top coat polish option. The bottles are on the smaller side, but honestly that didn’t bother me since you get so many colors in one set. Overall, if you like doing your own gel nails and want variety, this is a really good set to have!

I love Beetles gel polishes. The are so easy to use and I was pleasantly surprised that the color was exactly the color I wanted. If you are looking for highlighter yellow that is exactly what this one has. Make sure to put white underneath to really make the color pop. Personally I decided to start using the white acrylic underneath. With the white under I only needed to apply 2 coats. I get tons of compliments my color. My UV light dries this no problem. Just remember that your base clear dries no problem and same with the top. Like usual the color always feels tacky until you put on the clear top coat. If you like neon colors this is the set to buy. Just in case it doesn't say it, I bought the Neon 20 color Summer Rainbow Gel set. I will post my colors as I use them. I have attached a597 Here is A304 over black, one coat. This is great polish.

These bottle are small but I must say I love all the colors I need more

I have been a fan of gel polish for about 12 years now. My previous go-to brand was "G*l-ish." I love how the Beetle brand allows you to complete your final-top coat without having to wipe away excess debris with alcohol. When I received this set I was super psyched. Colors are beautiful and there are many options of shades to choose from. The only negative feedback that I have about this polish is what others mention; it can peel quickly-sometimes even the day of application. You need to be sure that your nails are buffed, completely clean and primed prior to application of the base coat-and sometimes that is not even enough to stop the initial peeling. Also be sure to avoid accidentally applying to your cuticle because that can start the peeling process even quicker. I would still recommend this set, just be more cognizant of where your polish is prior to curing under your LED lamp. If it peels, you can always sand it down a bit and re-apply in order to extend the set.

This is my second purchase of Beetles products and I love it 💕 I'm also new to doing my own gel nails and the photo above is my third try and I'm speechless how easy is to do your own gel nails and to be able to make it like a professional 💅 I love how simple it is, I love these retro colors and the price 😀 It is a win, win situation ❤️ Big recommendations for this brend. For sure gonna order more of it.

Je ne travaille qu'avec cette marque pour l'instant et suis complètement satisfaite, je regrette juste que les vernis ne fasse que 5ml, ça part suuuuuuuuper vite

Malheureusement j'ai acheté énormément de vernis Beetles pensant que c'était des vernis de bonne qualité, et je suis très déçue. Ils contiennent absolument tous au moins un des composés interdits en UE et sont quand même vendus sur le marketplace !! Je suis scandalisée, mais je les ai tous déjà partiellement utilisés donc je ne peux pas les retourner. Ils contiennent soit de l’HEMA, soit du TPO, soit les 2, et je peux vous dire que même en me protégeant il arrive parfois que je touche la peau : je le sens immédiatement! La composition est extrêmement irritante. Et si vous développez une allergie, c’est des problèmes à vie, pour la manucure oui, mais pas que ! Pour des soins dentaires aussi, ou si vous avez besoin de prothèses qui contiennent des acryliques, c’est foutu !! Extrêmement mécontente donc, d'autant que compte tenu le nombre de commentaires positifs je ne pensais pas tomber sur ce type de produits. Si vous voulez des vernis semi permanents de qualité, ne contenant pas ce types de produits, faites très très attention à la composition... Attention, il est interdit de les revendre et de les utiliser pour faire des manucures à vos clientes ou des press-on aussi !!! Par ailleurs la catalyse est très longue à faire et je trouve le vernis parfois très pateux.

I should’ve know it was too good to be true with a price like that. Been doing gel nails at home for a while without issues, started using Beetles a few months ago and my last 2 sets have been incredibly itchy, red and swollen. Did a bit of research and come to the conclusion I’ve formed an allergy to gel polish. My nails are lifting from their nail beds, they’re burnt (even after using sunscreen) and discoloured - I have totally destroyed my nails using this product. Picture attached was after the first reaction, they’re much worse after the second as I didn’t realise what was happening. Please do yourself a favour, either go to a professional or invest in some quality nail polish. I’m devastated that this’ll now be an ongoing issue whenever I want my nails painted.
