The WC Freeze A30 cooling gel earpads are a perfect upgrade for my Astro A30 headphones! They stay cool and comfortable, even during long gaming and streaming sessions. The gel padding makes a huge difference compared to the stock pads, which would get warm after a while. Installation was quick and easy, and they fit perfectly on the headset. The comfort level has improved drastically, and I can now game for hours without any discomfort. If you're looking to keep your ears cool and comfy, these are definitely worth it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The decision to make the purchase was based on reviews. The other factor was due to the leather material in the original Astro A30s wearing out and needed to be replaced. Size: Fits secured especially with a lot of concerns for third party accessories. The biggest thing worth noting is that if you having trouble putting it in place it is either due to the pads on the wrong side or flipped the wrong way. Ease of use: It is easy to use without issue. Ease of installation: Dependent on how you secure the fit/ how you put in place. Functionality: Great airflow and comfort especially with prolong wear. It does not affect the sound quality. Look: Appearance is natural as it does not change the appearance of the overall headset. Con: A little steep in turns of pricing to make the consideration versus other sellers.

They are simply more comfortable and you don’t worry about your ears getting hot and gross with the bit of venting and just way better material so if you keep them on awhile listening to music or playing games. I’ve had them well over 6 months now and I am very pleased with them but it’s time to get another pair to replace them as they’ve gotten worn and it doesn't want to clean up well anymore from my hair that wants to be greasy halfway through the day but thats just expected wear. I definitely recommend getting these if you haven’t already, imma buy a new one haha

I'm not sure if mine just have defect or what but they just fall off super easy like the magnets just are in the wrong place or what. Besides that they are nice for extended use and are so much more cooler on the ears.

We love these replacement pads for a few reasons. 1. They fit our headphones perfectly, so there’s no disruption in the sound quality 2. They have a cooling effect that is so helpful. I tend to get really warm and the sweat makes wearing headphones so uncomfortable. These pads offer some relief and I appreciate that function. 3. They are a good value and look great too.

The magnets are very weak, you can’t wear them around your neck, first time off-boarding a plane I didn’t even make it to the aisle before the ear cups fell off. They are cooler than the factory cups, but only by a marginally noticeable bit, they still get very hot. The leather surround is good, it keeps the volume contained and outside noise dampened. They are slightly thicker which I actually love because my ears stick out so they have more space. I prefer the factory ear cups of my A50s though they’re likely not as quiet on a plane - I bought these for office use though, only took them on the plane to not have to use my air pods, I wanted over ear headphones.

Amazing quality! Oke thing I've always struggled with using most headsets is my ears get very flush and overheat. Usually within 20 minutes. Historically the only headset I could use was astro a40 because the material was super breathable. When I purchased my a30s I panicked because they have leather noise cancelling cups, and usually any gel cooling/memory foam cups never work for me. Well this company changed that! Just did 2 sessions over 3 hours each and I didn't even notice them! For the price this can't be beat! 10/10 would recommend.

Great piece of custom making for my Astro A30s. Legit, you are submitting to great torture if you use the original, stiff, "car seat leather"-type cushions the headphones come with. Might as well have a microwave on your head with all that heat. You wouldn't notice the difference. Wicked cushions fixed every problem I head with these relatively premo headsets. Super comfy long hour seshes. Even in the sweatiest, and I mean sweatiest ( run-it back loss streaks in ranked wid the Bois in +35°), sessions, I would forget these comforting creations where on me, a sign of a well designed headset / cushion combo. Did I mention you can put them in a cold environment (even fridge if safely packaged) to make the gels inside them super cold? The magents for clamping onto the headset are also brilliantly replicated. Very impressive work indeed. Sound quality is still superb, but I may be tone deaf if the public crucifixion of my musical opinions are to be believed, so do not take my experience on this as absolute (do for all other aspects please). Most notably, this a review over a year past purchase and constant usage, so you know the R&D at Wicked don't play around. My one complaint, unfortunately, is that these white cushies collect all spectrums of coloured gunk real fast. And boy, is it hard or eventually what feels like impossible to clean. I was able to clean the initial creations of humble ear sweat stains with the instructed damp soapy cloth. But eventually, the gunk will fight back, say enough is enough, and overpower your measley damp cloth. When facing the cushions head on, I sometimes forget they came a pale white and aren't supposed to be pastal green (maybe color blind?). I just don't know how or if these stains can even be removed, but the simple damp cloth does not cut it anymore. So yeah, if you don't care about cushions that become too indicative of your gremlin lifestyle with their staining that you won't take them outside anymore and hide it when you invite new people over that you are trying to impress and hopefully climb up the ladder from, then Wicked Cushions are legit the greatest cushions to get. Or you could also get it in a darker color (White was the only one available for my A30s 😭)

Had over heating issues when wearing the normal pads these work wonder highly recommend for any headset user
