cute!
This thing picks up hair like no one's business, which of course causes issue with how it rolls. Since the wheels are detachable, you can fix it, but it doesn't roll the same as it first did. While it doesn't bounce, when it finds itself in a corner, it goes berserk. It's not hopping, thank goodness, but the cats are like what's his problem, and leave it alone. I placed it in the gentle mode and that seems to work better for them--these kitties are a year old, but it's still too wild for their tastes. I guess they like their prey to act injured and to hide, the little opportunists. When it's off, they try to bite the antennas off, and succeeded on one side. I put it in a bag while it was on, and the cats REALLY liked that.

Super cute toy and my cats love playing and watching it. I just wish I could clean it, so it runs better.

Fun, but gets trapped easily
My girl enjoyed this toy, however when it would run around it would easily get caught up in things. If you live in a smaller apartment, this may not be the toy for you. It did work well and was faster than I expected. I ended up returning it because I learned I needed one of these that can be contained better so it’s not constantly running into things.

Good toy
My cat isn’t a major fan of it but it does keep my cat stimulated. It functions as described

The cats love it and the dog tries to eat it.
I love this snail. Lately I have been trying to provide more playful items. The turtle is in my arsenal. Easy to use and the cats enjoy playing with him.

Just stops working—within a few days!
I bought this as I thought the “upgraded” versions of their toys would actually work better and last longer. This one is NOT.This one has the same problems with the sensors eventually only allowing about a centimeter (at best) after a couple of days.First day I was thrilled to see it running around, rolling over and righting itself. After charging the first time it worked, but started getting stuck. At first I thought it was the wheels but I removed them and cleared the small amount of cat hair on one side—and out the wheels back on—NO change (but the wheel design is brilliant!).Charged again—and from thereafter it would only move about a centimeter (at best) forward and only millimeters in reverse.Added it to the pile of sadness that includes that robot mouse (first version) with the nose-based button (that actually worked far longer before developing this robot disease. They should have a program reset built into them. Better—they should have hired a better coder.
