Read & watched many reviews about this pedal. Decided to give it a shot. I’m very glad I did. I like the sound & compact size of it. It is a clone of a name brand pedal but for about 1/3 of the price. I used it at church today & was very pleased with it. I received compliments on my tone. For what I do, this will be perfect for me. I can’t justify spending so much more money for the big name pedal. An excellent value for the money. I recommend getting the Joyo power supply for it. I’ve just used it once so far so we will see how it holds up. Seems well made & sturdy enough for what I do. I will update if anything bad pops up.

Just got The Tidal Wave and tried it out for a good while. Heard it's a clone of a great DI and unfortunately now a days I'm on a budget now that gigs are becoming less available and I have to downsize to travel further. Honestly, I got it for size, because my other DI didn't fit on my new board by an inch, so this fits great, but besides that, it does have a real good amount of sound shaping. My bass's already sound real good on their own, so I just wanted something to compliment that, and this sure did !!! I have a few basses, but tried it on my Ibanez with their new T1 pickups that I really like, and my Spector with EMG's - and it enhances the tone on both REAL good !!! Just when I thought my tone couldn't get better, it is...lol So I'm very happy with my purchase !!! I haven't tried it live yet, but I'll be back to let you know how it goes through the DI out to the house. Prolly won't bring my Amp to the next casino gig, so I'll probably use this to it's full extent sooner then later. This is just my first reaction from in my room through a practice Amp, but if it sounds this good here, it usually does out there, so.... 5 stars so far !!!

Most people will recognize that this is a copy of a V1 version of a super popular pedal by another manufacturer. I actually have this pedal and the pedal it is a copy of, so I can provide a direct comparison. Functionally, they are identical. Same distortion, same flexibility, same straight forward use. The EQ is fantastic and it has so much flexibility that you can really dial in all sorts of different sounds. It really should be in every bass player's toolbox...even if you just end up using it as a DI box in an emergency. The ONLY issue I found where it differed from the pedal it copies, is the volume. This pedal, with identical settings, has a lower output. Now, this isn't to say that can't be compensated for on the amp or mixer side of the equation, so it isn't a deal breaker. But it is a difference. I would say that it has about 85% of the volume output at the same level setting. Still a fantastic pedal for the price.

Obsessed with this thing. I love my bass tone to begin with but this really lets you dial in the tone and makes my fuzz pedal sound great. Truly love it. I was looking at dark glass .. Compared that to the monomyth and finally monomyth to the tidal wave and the tidal wave is my favorite of them all and reasonable price

El footswitch no funciona. Si alguien más lo devolvió por ese mismo problema, lo más honesto hubiera sido que lo repararan antes de ponerlo nuevamente en venta. Ahora debo devolverlo a amazon y esperar varias semanas para que me devuelvan el dinero y poder comprar otro.

Great sounding pedal, for some warmth to your sound or a bit of grit. Really easy to use and really good eq. For the price it is excellent. Using it both with active Warwick basses and a passive 74 Jazz and 2011 P bass. Recommended.

Als Basser der einen richtig guten OD sucht, als Alternative zum Sansamp, möcht ich behaupten das dieses Pedal seine Aufgabe hervorragend erfüllt. Hab ich meiner kette nur 2 Zerren, diesen OD und den Big Muff. Damit bin ich mit nahezu allem abgedeckt.
