I love that the plugs are self contained, and it comes with a zippered vinyl pouch, which prevents damage while traveling, makes it easier to stuff into a corner of a carry-on (I never check electronics or accessories-too vital at destination) and to find on arrival. I have owned several of these, and have seen what family/friends have used, and this far surpasses all those. I have only 3 suggestions: 1. it needs USB-A and -C ports in the unit itself, which would have enabled me to leave at home a bulky multiport unit and cord I then had to plug into the converter; 2. the grounding prong on the UK plug needs to be metal like the other 2 prongs on that plug (and the prongs on ALL the rest of the plugs) because the plastic prong kept pushing the plug out of multiple sockets in a relative’s home (I had to hold the button on the converter to get it to insert, and even that didn’t work on several outlets, and it then came loose a couple times until I braced a floor outlet with a sneaker); and 3. the plugs need to lock in place when they’re extended, which also would have helped with the UK insertion problem. That said, it worked beautifully through several hotels and private homes, it’s a sturdy unit and I will buy another if the improvements I’ve mentioned are made.

I only used this as an adapter for phones and a travel fan while in Scotland. Works great for those. I was able to plug several items in it at one time thanks to the usb on the side. I had a little trouble getting to plug to stay open but figured out that was user error! Recommend for travel!

This was perfect for our trip to Malta and Rome Italy. It has USB port, and also the new "C" port, plus the outlet for our things. My laptop worked well, the kids switches charged just fine. We bought 2, and we're so thankful we had them.I travel for work, and have a different one from the sharper image, but these are just as effective, and they are significantly lighter.This is a converter, not just an adapter.

I purchased this item for a 3-month trip. The device arrived defective, making a buzzing sound, causing interference with household appliances, and the USB-C port doesn't always work. I haven't been able to return it because I am still traveling.You may regret purchasing this item.

It does what it is supposed to and does it well.

The Voltage converter did great with all phone chargers and hair straighteners in all visited countries.Would recommend

Bought this expensive converter. Went to Europe, and it didn't work. It's cheap plastic and the lock mechanism for the prongs wouldn't hold. Since I bought it before my trip and then went on the trip, the return window has closed, so I'm quite annoyed.

Bought this to power my Cpap machineMy cpap machine would turn on but the power light would flash on and off. It also would not power any cell phone charger either

The box barely did what it was supposed to. The usb C plug on the side worked intermiy, and I was forced to charge my phone using a regular adapter ...plugged into this converter (instead of just plugging the usb C directly to it).Also the unit is SO bulky and heavy! I had to use a lamp or other things to help it stay plugged into the Européen outlets or it wouldn't hold on it own.Got the job done barely, but very inconvenient

The converter mode does not work. My travel steamer and curling iron are within the v/w limits and they both turned on for a few seconds and were fried. Very disappointed in this product. Only good for charging your device. But I don’t fully trust it won’t fry my phone so I charge a battery bank and use that to charge my phone.
