I had never seen these before and though pricey new, and still fairly pricey in Warehouse, I thought I would grab this one to see just how good it was.As a primary school student I had a beautiful notebook for my final year as we had to buy one ourselves to write stories in. I was gutted when, just before we left our secure school for secondary, we were told to hand all books in and all work. I objected as I had felt guilty when my mum bought the pad as it was hardback, striped and not cheap. Along with that ,all my work would be destroyed. I was told this was done every year with work been chucked into a bonfire.Anyway, I digress! The reason I was even more keen to try this notebook was because I wanted something extra-special to make up for this loss 40 years ago.
