Confusing Product Description
If the model number of this HDD is ( ST24000NM002H ) as in the product specification is correct, then it is definitely not a 12 GB/s SAS HDD. It is then just a 6 GB/s SATA HDD of 24TB Capacity. Not sure if it is a genuine mistake by the seller or a conscious attempt to missell on Amazon.

Waiting for price to drop to get another one
I bought this 24TB drive in Nov 2025. When I put it in, I heard some clicking and could not format the drive. It was showing as only 21TB, which means one of the disks died before it got to me. I returned it and ordered another one. The new one was perfect and has run without a problem since. I plan to buy more (11 in total eventually), but the price has doubled since, so I'll wait for the price to come back down under $500.

1 out of 2 drives in the order arrived defective
Not only that one drive is defective, the seller is not willing to replace it of refund it, they sent me to chase ghosts with Seagate warrantly in a different country. Very disappointed.
