Works as expected and heats fast. Good product. Only thing is because of capacity need to wait for water to get reheat again. Or else great product. Had to call for installation second time as first one didn't do it correctly so 4 ratings.

INSTALLATION SERVICE IS A COMPLETE DISASTER. AVOID! I purchased the AO Smith EWS-5 White Instant Geyser (5 Litre) with high expectations, as the product itself seems well-made. However, the mandatory installation service provided by AO Smith/their partners is an utter failure and has completely ruined the purchase experience. The Core Problem: Zero Service and Coordination Delivery was fine (October 12th), but installation has not happened. There is zero proactive communication from AO Smith regarding scheduling. Tracking is broken. The link provided for installation status does not work, and the request is untraceable in the app. The Run-Around: When I called customer care (on October 13th and again today, October 15th) to expedite the service because I travel on the 17th, I was given a single contact number for a service provider. Non-Responsive Technician: The number provided is useless. The person either never answers or immediately disconnects the call. Customer Care is Unhelpful: After reporting the technician's number was non-responsive, I called customer care again today, and they simply gave me the exact same number, showing zero effort to resolve the issue, assign a new technician, or escalate the problem. They just gave me number of their regional manager and told me to follow, shifting responsibility on me. This lack of professionalism, organization, and accountability has left me with an unusable product and created major stress right before a scheduled trip. If you rely on AO Smith's included installation, be warned: you will be left stranded. Do not buy this product if you depend on their installation service. Update (Oct 15th): I have a firm deadline of October 16th to travel, and the geyser remains uninstalled and unusable. The service system is completely broken.

Though I ordered the product from Amazon the team was in continuous followup as to if the installation of the product is done or not the technician was also very professional.. appreciate the quality of service they are providing

Using this AO Smith EWS-5 geyser for a while now and it's been trouble-free. The 3kW express heating really does deliver hot water quickly, which is great for daily use. Build quality feels solid, installation was straightforward, and it hasn't given any issues so far. Good value for the price and works well even for high-rise water pressure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable instant geyser.

The water heater is pretty standard. Having used a Havell's 10 ltr water heater previously, this one feels small. Although touted as an instant water heater, it takes about 3-4 minutes for the blue indicator to turn orange (denoting full heat). It does not come with temperature control. It does not come with any inlet or outlet pipes too, I used my old pipes. Installation was a breeze. A.O Smith called me as soon as the heater was delivered and the technician came the very next day. The installation was free and easy. However no physical invoice was sent by Amazon and the downloaded invoice was not opening. Overall ok ok.

Worst heater. The heater element fails repeatedly. The element has be replaced for the fourth time now. Very poor product. Company should provide a permanent solution by replacing the heater itself. This is a failure model. Very frustrated with the profuct. Do not buy this one
