I got this pin to put on my non-speaking son's backpack. It is a really great quality, about 1.5 inches long. The enamel colors are great. It is metal, so I think it will last a long time. I wish the pin was a bit longer so that it can secure tighter. So far it hasn't fallen off. This criticism is not about the product, but the packaging... I do not understand why a pin needs to have a velvet pouch and a vinyl case. It seems wasteful environmentally, especially because most of the time when you get a pin, it is used immediately rather than kept put away. But aside from that, the quality and appearance of this pin are great.

I have this on my ID Lanyard working in a school with students with communication needs. Everyone loves it.
