Just like the "fancy" packaged product, but cheaper!
I get these for my 93yo mom, and they are just like the fancy packaged depends, but save me quite a few dollars. The best thing is they are available on "subscription" so they are delivered to my mom's nursing home, on a regular basis, so she never runs out! She has some mobility issues, and can't really lift much anymore, but these are packaged so they are easy for her to open, and she is able to lift the smaller plastic wrapped bundles of depends on her own. My mom is on a "water pill" so as she puts it, "I pee a little every step I take", but she doesn't have trouble with the depends leaking, and even if she is far from a bathroom, they hold her urine very well. She does still have bladder control, and mainly just has problems with "leaking" and the depends are ideal for that. I highly recommend this product, especially with the subscription order program ( it came in very handy this past winter when we were snowbound and couldn't make it to my mom's facility, the depends were still delivered and she had some extra on hand)! These are the underwear style, which my mom prefers as she feels they stay on just like regular underwear, and don't come unfastened on the side.

Huge Savings
I can't find enough adjectives to praise Amazon's Prime and subscription programs. I had previously been purchasing Depends for my 86 year old mother, at the supermarket, always using a $2.00 coupon, but was still paying almost $1.20 per pair. The two programs together have cut the cost in half. Not to mention that I don't have to worry when we run out anymore. With the Prime two day shipping, it's a snap. And if you sign-up to the subscription plan, your purchase just shows up at your door. I made a mistake when I ordered the first time. We needed the product quickly, so I requested it early. It came within a couple of days (free shipping, thanks to Amazon Prime). Then a couple of days later, I received the regularly scheduled shipment. So now we have a 4 month supply. Not to worry, my mother will use them. It was an easy fix to go into my Prime account and skip a shipment. You can also change your delivery date in there as well. As to the product, I'm sure this a moot point, but my mother loves Depends. She's tried other brands and says they chafe her. Depends are soft and comfortable to her. We buy the large for her (even though she's 5' and 110 lbs) because she like the extra room. She's in bed a lot and complained that the medium pinched her. Depends also are great with containing a lot of liquid. Mom is not normally incontinent, but once in awhile, we have a accident. So far the product has done its job. Another great attribute for me, is that they rip at outside seams, which makes it super easy for me to change her. They will also contain a small amount of feces, but don't count on them to hold diarrhea, though. Rubber pants can't even do that if there's a large volume. :(

Good
I have been using this brand for my mother for the past two years. I have to order it online because itโs hard to find small size at stores near me. They normally have in stock S/M size but it is too big for her. Just Small works well. I have to say that it holds urine in well. Weโve had little accident issues. And when there have been itโs because sheโs sick with diarrhea. And even with that, it amazingly holds quite a bit. My mother is small. 4โ6 and only 110 lbs so it works well for her. If there is any complaint, Iโd say that the tear away sides are not always easy to tear with some type of scissors but I suppose if they were easy to tear it would just cause more problems. Iโm pretty satisfied with this brand.

My experience with my mother
My mother is 92 years old and her plumbing is very leaky. These seem to help, for the most part. I chose these for her because they stretch and fit more like regular underwear, unlike some other options. They feel like a cross between paper and a little bit of fabric. They are very stretchy, so fit snugly. They are light tan in color. They pull on, like normal panties. Too many of the other incontinence solutionns have to be put on like diapers, with tabs on the sides. How humiliating for an ambulatory person -- though I certainly appreciate the need if a person were bedridden. However, Mom is not bedridden. Mom has dementia, but she's still ambulatory, with a history of having been young once, working,, raising a family, and deserving of as much dignity as we can give her. The others are cheaper and Humana will help pay for the diaper kind, but I cannot bring myself to do that to her. The ones that have tabs on the sides and are put on like diapers are demeaning and they rattle when people move. These do not. So, even though we have to pay for these out of our own pocket, we think it's very important that we not take more from her than she has already lost - her confidence and self respect. These are very stretchy and can be easily pulled on, like any other panty. There are 2 challenges we deal with, though. 1. Mom has very wide hips and small waist, in proportion. I wish they fit a little better around the hips. I get her the largest size but they are a little on the small size at her hips so do not pull all the way to the waist. Her pants size is about 20. 2. They seem almost "real", which is a good thing. Mostly. Even though she has moderate dementia, she's still a person with pride and embarrassed that she is incontinent, so keeps trying to launder them by herself by putting them in the washing machine. When they go through the wash it's a terrible, awful, horrible mess to clean up. The gel gets into the pump of the washer and it takes a couple of hours to clean out of Mom's front-loading washer. She washed them, twice, before we figured out how to prevent another occurrence. The paper isn't wonderful either to pick off any other items that might be in the washing machine either. If you have a similar problem with your loved one, you can still use these. The fix was easy. We bought a remote control button made for lamps - you plug the lamp into the control and put the remote where you want it. Instead of a lamp, we plugged the washing machine into the control and put the remote on the other side of the room, above a door. She doesn't know it's there. We are very careful not to ever let her see us turn it to the off position when the laundry is finished, or on when we need to use it. She still puts her Depends in the washing machine and tries to start the washing machine. When it doesn't work, she gets frustrated and walks away, then forgets what she was going to do. Then, we go pull the Depends out of the washing machine and throw them away. I recommend them. I buy the most absorbent I can get and they seem to do the job for my very incontinent mom. They're expensive but she doesn't have very many years left. I think she's worth it, though it'd be easier if they cost less.

Love these!
The value for money 4 vs. a 5 star is solely based upon the fact that I have not compaired similar quantity nor quality products. I have used, they are light, fit perfectly, and like their absorbency. Most of all, it's such a relief to know that when I cough, sneeze, or laugh, I'll never again suffer an embarrassing public moment. Very comfortable, especially around the leg tops, & crotch. Since much apparel is made far smaller overseas, than our American products, purchased a box of XL. Friends of mine tried a few, (my friends range from XL, 1X, 2X, & 3X), and they, too, were thrilled, because they all were comfortable. Once used, these bundle very tiny, to discard them to the trash - I roll them tightly and wrap the stretchy sides, twice around, and they practically fit in my fist. This is just what I needed.

Very convenient for post C-section moms
After my experience with my first C-section, I come prepared for my second one. It's just so difficult to deal with post-op pain, starting to breastfeed, then having to walk fast enough to get to the bathroom in time as my body releases all the pregnancy fluids. I do not use this to replace having to go to the bathroom, but this is just in case I don't get there in time because of the pain. It is very convenient and the design does not put pressure on my incision. It is so much better than having to laundry clothes non-stop because of an "accident". My pre pregnant weight was 113, I'm petite but at my heaviest during my pregnancy I was 161lb. I ordered the extra large. Well, I do have an extra large tummy and it worked as I expected. Would highly recommend this to another mommy post surgery. Just a note though, be careful to air out your incision as this covers it. I blow dry mine in cool setting. Keeps my incision dry before I use the Depend.

Best value, good fit, convenient
I love the price for this number of units in a pack. My mom likes these but says they feel a bit uncomfortable like they are going down her back a little but she wears underwear hiked up like the old days so i told her she has to adjust unfortunately. She is in a wheelchair and home most of the time but very independent. She originally wanted a sample to see if these would be a better choice than poise for when she goes out and has leaks. She can hold it for a while but being in a wheelchair means that depending on where she is, she may or may not be able to "rush" to the bathroom like the rest of us. Plus she coughs and sneezes a lot, adding to her potential woes. She now likes to wear these daily since the pack wasn't too pricy and enjoys having that safety without having to worry about accidentally leaking or completely going if she has a coughing fit.

The best brand I have tried so far. I get the Large- Maximum absorbency.
I Have a brain tumor and that is the reason i cannot control my micturition, or my urine flow. I have tried many many products and have had embarrassing accidents in public.I think i have found my perfect solution for me,maybe not for others. I like the L size Depend - Maximum strength, Plus a long length pad as a liner inside. That way, with the liner, I don't have to take all my clothes off to change the pull-up every time I wet. I can often just change the liner pad. And no more EMBARRASSING accidents! I try to comparison shop .too, and Walmart can often beat even Amazon on a lot of products. I can still drive myself. and am normally using a walker or a wheelchair , still weak from chemo , So if a motorized cart isn't very handy and one of my sons can't take me shopping , and grab me a motorized cart, online shopping with my Amazon prime is easier for me. And the dollar or 2 difference isnt a big deal to me. I used to love shopping and comparing prices when i could run around more.. The 2 stores are always pretty close in price on most products , like computers, gadgets,TV's, furniture, toiletries etc.

Awesome for postpartum!
These were the perfect thing for the first few days of heavy bleeding following the birth of my son! They were way better than the hospital gauze panties and pads. Comfy enough and I never had any leaks. If you're debating sizes, go on the smaller side as they're quite stretchy.

Great value!
I must always have these on hand for my elderly mother who has bladder issues...she finds that these particular Depends work better than any other product she's tried and I think she likes that they look a little fancier than a generic product. The only thing is, Depends are very expensive, particularly if you have to buy a lot of them...that's why I was glad to find this value pack on Amazon...it makes it a little more affordable and it's also nice to have them delivered to my door. I highly recommend this great value from Amazon!
