Dr. Scholl'sShoes Men's Harrington Composite Toe Work Oxford Food Service Shoe

I've had several pairs of safety shoes and this is the most comfortable steel toe shoe that I have had. I used to have Dewalt carbon fiber toe shoes that I liked a lot until our dog chewed them up. The current model from Dewalt has a cloth exterior which wouldn't be suitable for any place where I would be wearing safety shoes.

Nice shoes - very comfortable indeed, and with the added protection of hardened toe protection. These have fantastic grip and are great to wear all day. They are almost perfect. The "almost" is due to the leather upper which is very weak and easily damaged. This is a bit unfortunate for a shoe that is ostensibly for work wear. I knelt down in them and the leather on the toe quickly abraded and wore away. I also noted in driving they were also marked from the brake pedal of the car. I have been able to hide this a little through polishing but this was a very sad surprise. I hope the manufacturer takes note and uses a solid leather upper versus the PU type they have moved to. This choice of material is a surprise for a pair of shoes that are not inexpensive to buy... This is a real negative for a Work shoe that is intended for service - also at odds with having hard-toe protection.

Item arrived timely and in good condition.

My only concern is that the tread does not seem super deep and the material that the welt is made of appears to be rubber, but the oil resistance is great, and my feet don't get wet in a busy dish pit and the hard toe does the job while not being heavy.

Absolutely horrible shoes. They arrived in a broken state. Don't buy these shoes.

Fits well and fairly comfortable for a cheaper steel toed shoe.

Soles started peeling off after only about a month of use. I have to keep gluing them back on.Other than that the shoe is great.
