Magically erase tough messes
I’ve been using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponges for years, and this pack is always a must-have in my cleaning supplies. They really live up to their name—perfect for tackling tough messes that regular sponges or cloths just can’t handle. Pros: • Powerful cleaning: Removes scuffs, crayon marks, fingerprints, soap scum, and stains with very little effort. • Versatile use: Works on walls, doors, baseboards, appliances, bathroom surfaces, and more. • Convenient pack size: Having multiple sponges on hand means I can keep one in different rooms for quick clean-ups. • No harsh chemicals needed: Just add water and scrub—simple and effective. Cons: • Wears down quickly: The sponges break apart after heavy scrubbing, so each one doesn’t last very long. • Not for every surface: Can scratch delicate finishes, so you need to test in an inconspicuous area first. • Disposable: Since they’re not reusable like cloths, you’ll go through them faster if you clean a lot. Overall: The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponge pack is a cleaning essential. It’s affordable, easy to use, and incredibly effective for quick fixes and deep-cleaning jobs. Even though each sponge doesn’t last forever, the results are so good that I always keep a pack stocked at home.

If you have a bathroom, you need this!
One of our bathrooms, used by a family member who refuses to spray the shower after each use, looked as if it needed to be replaced (not kidding at all). The shower door was completely opaque with soap scum and the walls were gross and sticky. As a last ditch effort, I tried one of these Magic Erasers on the door. It only took a few strokes before all the soap scum was gone and the door looked new. I tried the Eraser on the shower wall, and although it worked well, it ran out of cleanser and steam before I got very far with it. The areas that were cleaned before the Magic Eraser ran out of cleanser looked shiny and clean, but the part I scrubbed with the sponge alone didn't get clean. The scrubber just moved the soap scum around, and didn't remove any of it. Still, the fact that the scrubber got any of the disgusting scum off the shower door and part of one wall was close to miraculous. I used all five of the scrubbers on that bathroom alone, and it could use another five to get everything spic and span. So, I've ordered another couple of packages to finish this bathroom and to get to the other ones. (which aren't dirty at all, compared to this one) This isn't the least expensive solution to the problem, but compared to the other cleansers I've tried, it works miracles. Considering the other products I've bought to try and clean the shower and tub, finding something that works without me scrubbing my arm off is well worth the price.

Soap Scum and Mold Be Gone! Yay!
My shower/bathtub combo always gets pink mold around all the shampoos and conditioners and soap scum builds up on the side of the shower/tub after a few weeks. These sponges are fun to use and remove the soap scum and mold fairly easily. I noticed after I'd cleaned the whole tub that a few spots needed a little more attention so I used another half of a sponge and scrubbed a bit longer and the soap scum came off easily when there was such a concentrated cleaning power. I also used half a sponge to clean my sink and it was beautiful and shiny. So I used a total of about four sponges during the whole cleaning because things hadn't been cleaned for at least over a month. I worked up my courage to tackle cleaning this deep and it turned out great. The only thing these sponges didn't do was remove the gray hard water stains but those seem impossible to remove without special cleaners. I also noticed these work best when dipped in a plastic cup of water and then they need to be squeezed out - then that releases the best soapy cleaning experience from the sponges. Yay! You will be so proud of yourself after you complete your cleaning jobs! Definitely wear gloves because these sponges have a lot of cleaner in them! ~The Rebecca Review 5/11/2025 - My mother came to visit and noticed how shiny my kitchen sink was. I went and got her a box of these and gave them to her, telling her it was these sponges that worked so well. So yeah, I'm getting more boxes because I keep giving these away to friends and family to try. It really is like a gift to find these. You will love them!!!!

The ad worked for me — and so did the sponge (until it disappeared)
I have to hand it to the marketing team behind the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser commercial—I saw that woman look straight into the camera, hold up the box like it was the Holy Grail of cleaning, and tell me to try it. And I did. Because apparently, I’m that susceptible to a good pitch. And you know what? I’m not mad about it. This thing works. My bathroom looked like it had been visited by some kind of cleaning fairy with a magic wand. Grime? Gone. Scuff marks? Gone. Soap scum? Bye. It was like watching a mini miracle unfold in my own home. But here’s the catch: the Magic Eraser is basically the Cinderella of cleaning products—it works beautifully, but it turns back into a pumpkin (or in this case, a pile of sponge crumbs) before you know it. After one solid use, the sponge started disintegrating, and I realized this is definitely not a “rinse and reuse” kind of deal. With only five sponges in the box, this could get pricey real fast. I looked it up and learned these are made of melamine foam, which is basically micro-sandpaper that eats itself as it scrubs. The Mr. Clean version also seems to have some kind of secret sauce—probably a detergent or cleaning agent—that helps it work better than the cheaper, plain versions you can find online. Therefore, I am going to try out some of the cheaper sponges and see how they work. Overall, I’m happy I bought this product. It made cleaning way faster and less of a chore. I just wish it didn’t self-destruct like a spy message from Mission: Impossible.

Great Product!
A must buy! I'm not sure how I have just discovered these, but they definitely do an amazing job on your tub! I highly recommend them. They foam up nicely and have a nice smell to them.

Takes the work out of cleaning soap scum and hard water stains
If you want to get rid of soap scum, and hard water stains nothing does it better than these sponges they kind of fall apart with vigorously scrubbing, but they’re the only thing I found that clean soap scum and hard water stains with minimal work they just collect it and your tile and tub shines like new again

Meh...
What we have here is the original Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with Dawn dish soap squirted on it. And it cleans like the original Magic Eraser with Dawn dish soap, but at a premium price to have them prepacked together. It cleans OK and the Dawn doesn't leave a soap residue. For tougher jobs in the shower or tub, try using Dawn and an auto bug sponge that's covered in nylon mesh. Lasts forever! Even tougher job? Use Dawn Powerwash and a blue Scotchbrite no scratch scrubbing pad.
