I am very happy with this trash container. Really happy!I have it behind the drivers seat. When driving, I can just reach over my shoulder and drop what ever is trash. In the passenger seat, easy to reach back and drop in bag.I put some water in it and it passed the test of hours. Didn't do days.The metallic inside seems very loose and not tight fitting.The strap that attaches to the car headrest is able to shorten or lengthen what ever you need.I put a grocery bag and it fits in nicely. Not sure this would hold 2.5 gallons though. Guess I should try it and see. But, I just wanted it for my vehicle, to have a trash 'can' if you will.It is a bit on the small side, but actually I like that. Means one won't leave smelly trash for days/weeks in my vehicle. I didn't mention my husband, now did I? Ha, haThe sides fold down just a bit, then in to collapse the whole bag folded up.It also has mesh pockets on the outside.I tried to show everything that just might be necessary upon traveling far or near.On the outside of the bag you have plenty of mesh pockets for supplies or whatever you want to put there, if anything.I am using it for a trash bag for my vehicle. I am thinking of getting another one for the other seat, and put empty water bottles, soda bottles, etc for trips long or short.I confidently recommend this bag.

My hubby drives me nuts by tossing his not-quite-empty water bottles, receipts, and napkins all over the passenger seat or the floor of the car.Enter this over-the-seat trash bag, which he had BETTER use, lol.It's stiff around the top so it holds its shape on the open end, and there's velcro so you can close it up.The bottom doesn't have any type of structure (other than the stitching), but it's moderately stiff with the waterproof lining. You could put a piece of cardboard or a plastic tupperware lid into the bottom if you need it to stay square.Each of the mesh pockets will fit an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and/or an adult hand with room to spare. A pack of wet wipes would fit here nicely, or a folded road map (yes, those still exist!), or a big flashlight.You could hang it off of the back or the front of the seat, or even just spin it from one to the other.I like it, it was worth it to me...now let's just hope the hubby uses it.

I love this car trashcan! I was losing it with my kids throwing trash on the floor of my car, but now, no more! I can strap it onto my seat, and they always know where to put their rubbish from snacks while we’re driving. It’s easy to snap on and easy to snap off, and it’s easy to empty and clean because the inside is waterproof. I highly recommend!

The bag is well made. The inner liner helps to keep wet things contained. For my wife and I this bag is used more on longer trips when we are traveling for several hours a day in the car. For shorter trips we just use whatever bag is available to the front seat passenger because using this one, at least using it attached to the headrest, is somewhat of a hassle. That would be less of an issue if we had a back seat passenger.

I actually put my trash in this trash bag! I know how funny that sounds, but I’ve had several different kinds of trash cans in my car. Most don’t work for me. If I can’t put garbage in it because I can’t safely do so while driving – or it’s already full – I’m dropping the trash on the floor. This trash bag hangs over the back of my passenger seat. I just reach over and put my garbage in it. It holds up to 2.5 gallons, which is a good bit of room. I use plastic grocery bags as liners, and they work perfectly. I love it!

I was hoping to be able to loop this around the console lid so that it hung on the back side of the center console but unfortunately the loop attachment just wasn't long enough. Looping it around the headrest takes all the length it has. However, the bag itself is very nice, well constructed and holds a ton. It is also easy to clean and works great for our car.

Got tired of my tiny trash can in my F150, it is small and sits on the floor. Trash ends up everywhere and I'm always cleaning up. This will hold a lot, over two, two liter bottles and more. All lined inside with plastic, and net pockets on the outside. Closes shut at top and has a strap with a plastic clasp that loops around the head rest to hold it up and off the floor. I put it on the back of the passenger seat and can easily reach behind and drop trash, even bottles and rolled up magazines in the bag while being easy to take off and empty when full. Could even be used on a long trip as a mini cooler, like two waters, two sodas and a bit of ice.

I got this for my husband's car, and was surprised at how big it is! It will hold a lot of trash, which is good because my husband needs a large trash bag to hold his empty drink cups and this one will do just that! It has a silver vinyl lining and the description says it's waterproof, but we haven't had to test that out yet. We usually don't put liquids in the car trash because even if the bag doesn't leak, it would have to be cleaned later. Overall I highly recommend this trash bag!
