And I like that I can set my own combination code. ### ⭐ A very expensive low security lock *by J***N on November 9, 2025* So, I’ve had this lock for two years now. It gets very minimal use. I usually take it with me on explore the city rides where I might need to hop into a restaurant for a quick bite or drink. My heavier duty locks I use commuting to work. Well the lock jammed up and I couldn’t get it open. Maybe if I had more time I could’ve gotten it free, but I didn’t want to continue wasting my day off trying to figure out why this lock wouldn’t open. I went to the px and bought a cheap $15 dollar pair of aviator snips. In 30 seconds and 5-6 snips I had cut through this lock with ease. Is this lock better than nothing? Sure, but at this price point it isn’t much better than a $10 combo lock. The locking mechanism also has a habit of premature failure and jamming up. I don’t know from an engineering standpoint what causes that or how to fix it, I just know for the average person that pretty much kills their lock. I knew it was minimal defense, but it was easily defeated with tin snips. I won’t be buying this lock again. I’ll be carrying a cheap combo lock for my road bike runs or wrapping a lighter chain on the frame. Dollar per security and durability for the product is poor. I salute them for thinking outside of the box, but from a bicycle commuter I would steer clear of this in the future.
