Great for Our Dog
One of our dogs is a 63lb rescue who wasn't crate trained (and didn't want to be). He would get into things (garbage, food, M&Ms, etc) and ruin things when we were gone (i.e. scratch doors & window sills, chew blankets). He knocked screens out and escaped from our RV twice while traveling. He broke out of the folding wire crates easily and chewed through (!!!) a $250, THICK, composite plastic crate. Imagine coming home from work to a possible vet visit (and bill) almost every day! This crate has changed all our lives. He is SAFE now when we're at work and on the road. It has the perfect amount of room for him, it's secure (we don't even have to additionally lock it - though we could), and it's not too difficult to manage folding down. I'm so glad this company offered this crate for this price. It's a lot of money, but WORTH it compared to the alternatives.

Good cage
Bought this for a donation to the Sheriff’s K9 department. Good, sturdy and collapsible unit

Very nice crate
This crate is exactly like an Impact collapsible crate at a much more reasonable price. The door is like the older version of Impacts with the bars instead of holes. I prefer this as it gives much better ventilation. The large is equivalent to the 40+ with Impact. Impact charges $1300 for the tan vs $750 for this one. The thumb screws are a game changer and really make the crate solid. It's such a good idea that Impact sort of copied it except theirs are 2 pieces with a bolt that goes on the inside and a cheap plastic nut that goes on the outside. The only negative (and it's not enough to take off any stars IMO) is I don't like how the tabs on the side rails are exposed on the inside of the crate (2nd pic). For some dogs that chew on everything, this could be a cutting hazard. Impact collapsible crates gave the same issue. I wish there were little pockets welded on the inside that would cover the tabs. Maybe future versions could incorporate something like that.

Works so far
After much deliberation, reading reviews and comparing prices I decided to get this crate. Tan- Large. It was assembled in about 15 minutes. Seems to work as expected so far. My 7 month old 69lb Chocolate Lab/German Shepherd boy seemed to like it enough to walk right into it with roomy/cave like feeling. He needed something heavier duty to prevent escaping and calm him when he's overstimulated. Hopefully it serves him well in the long run. 4 stars only because I have not had it long enough to determine if 5 stars yet. Thanks for having another crate option available to try for those of us on a little tighter budget.

Lifesaver
We received these kennels a few days ago and immediately fell in love. Our dogs have separation anxiety when we leave, and have destroyed a lot of things in the past when we didn't have a kennel. We left the home alone the very first day in the to go do some grocery shopping and they did amazing. We also left for a trip to Austin to see our baby in the nicu and was gone for about 9 hours, came home and they were great. They love them and will even go lay down during the day when they don't even need to be in them. I could not be more happier with my purchase. I will always recommend these kennels for anyone who is looking for a safe space for their furbabies.

Not impressed.
Not a fan. I bought this for my retired K9, hoping it was as good as the Impact crate. I’ve had it for about a year and a half. So far, the screws constantly come loose and they fall off. I constantly have to screw them back in and constantly make sure they are tight. The locking mechanism on the door worked fine in the beginning, but then it stopped working properly. I had to double and triple check that the lock was secure. I had to put a note on the crate, stating to double check the door, so it was secure. Today, I loaded up my dog, I checked to make sure the door was secured, and I left the room. I let my other dog out, and unbeknownst to me, my K9, had escaped her crate and the fight was on. In addition, our last foster dog’s adopter bought one for him, at our recommendation. The dog ended up destroying the crate. He broke out through the back. He was hurt in the process. I do not recommend this crate.

Everything the Impact Crate has but half the cost but maintains quality
This is the best crate I've bought in my life, so easy to pack up and move to and from my friends house. Its basically the impact crate but your not paying the 1300 it would cost if you bought from them. The latch latches strongly, easy to fold (just make sure to remove dog toys first, made that mistake), super strong (can contain my 40 pound Aussie easily (size medium). No creaking or screeching in the hinges. Matches my esthetic of industrial that everyone notices and comments on. I took a photoshoot of my dog and her breaking out of her old crate and putting her in a jail suit outfit and sending her to "maximum security doggy jail." Even had the front and side mug shots next to her crate with a sign saying what she was in there for ahah. Was a perfect funny Facebook story post.

It’s nice but disappointing
Just not what I was anticipating. The metal is thinner than expected but that’s okay because it’s meant to be transported. The real issue is the swivel joints are low quality. They should have a larger rod going through them and larger hinges. After one use and taking it down and setting it up twice the metal is popping in and out and the swivel hinge for opening and folding up has too much play in it for me to think this will last years like I expected
