Restore & Protect really does what the name promises I picked up Valvoline Restore & Protect Full Synthetic 0W-20 as part of my regular oil change routine, and after running it for a bit, I’m genuinely impressed. This oil pours cleanly, doesn’t feel overly thin or watery, and immediately gave me a smoother, quieter startup compared to the oil I drained out. Cold starts are noticeably calmer, and the engine just feels happier overall. What stood out to me most is how smooth things feel after a few hundred miles. I really want to believe this works but didn't really see a noticeable difference, worked well as any other motor oil. I'm not an experienced car person but I did notice it ran more quietly in the cold weather, which I can only count as an improvement. One thing I was kind of irritated by that I didn't see advertised on the bottle is that you're not supposed to use this with any other kind of motor oil. Take it with a grain of salt but, According to my mechanic mixing this with regular motor oil can damage your car. I really feel like if this is true it should be stated very boldly on the bottle so you can't miss it. Could also be my mechanic trying talk me into a more expensive oil change using this oil. All in all, I really want this to work and restore old parts better, but I think it's pretty overpriced unless it really does work

used Valvoline since a minibike riding young teen . 10w30 synthetic my choice for most all general engines , small and offroad unless otherwise specified . good stuff . one instance , after overhaul i did for past "customer" , the MORON overheated thru massive overload until the HEAD MELTED thru in 3 cracks .... i assumed he was amoron and used Valvoline synthetic 10w30 first fill . replaced head and gasket , returned to service runningEXCELLENT still ; Kohler K301 12hp in Cub cadet mowing 18" hay in 90* heat with malfunctioning overchaging starter/gen he didnt replace .... i was impressed before . been proud to use since .

Too soon to say whether its cleaning inside as it suggests 4 oil changes to show the effect. But the oil definitely made the engine noticeably quieter, smoother, and reduced the fluctuating revs I had due to the sludge (which I am hoping to clean by this oil). So its definitely effective in getting control of the internal lubrication requirements.

Puse este aceite en mi Sienna 2014, es denlo mejor, el aceite de agencia a los 10 mil kilómetros pierde su viscosidad. Este lo cambio cada 10 mil pero he llegado a los 15 mil y aunque esta negro sigue con las mismas propiedades. Se los recomiendo
