Did the job at a great price
Had everything I needed to transport my new 77 pound, tandem kayak for an excellent price. Only downside of the full package of items needed was the lack of clear directions for tie downs and rope pulleys - had to figure that out myself. Also have to figure out a way to secure the boat on the roof without the wind creating ear splitting vibrating noise at 50+ mph! Not the equipment's fault, just how it was used! :)Good buy for the money!

worked for my kayak
I got one of these for my new kayak and used it once so far. It was really easy to set up and tie everything down. It gave me some more confidence when attaching the kayak to my roof. If you don't know how to use them, you can also find videos online that can help you out.

Good All Around Straps
I don't currently have a canoe or kayak (yet) but plan to get at least one. In the meantime, I've used the ratchet straps to hold down coolers and boxes in the back of my truck to test them out and they do great. I haven't had them strap down anything particularly heavy or done so on any long trips, but so far they have been easy to use and endured the smaller amount of abuse I've put them through. They definitely seem like they'll be super helpful once I have a kayak to strap down.
