GROHE 47483000 3/4" Thermostatic Compact Cartridge

Had to return, as it was the wrong part, but by looking at it and showing it to my plumber, it was received well from a professional. Can't go wrong.

We were having some issues with water temperature. Swapped this out and everything is good as new! It was really easy to install, just needed a pipe wrench.

Came in a Grohe box so presume its an OEM part. Note. You need the correct Grohe "Hex Box Tool" , double ended to install this. They are mega expensive (about 70 quid) for what they are but if you don't use it you will damage the "Hex" on the valve. You need to scan the internet for find one at the right price, somewhere around 35-40 quid is about right, but that is still far too expensive for what it is. The Hex Box ( a kind of double hex in one socket) is specially made by a Grohe supplier to fit the valve body. If you think you are clever and try to use a normal large six hex socket you will round off the edges, meaning you will never get the valve out of the body.

Da wir das Vorgängermodell installiert hatten, war diese baugleiche Kartusche einfach einzubauen. Nun können wir die Wassertemperatur perfekt regulieren.
