Great support for wrist
I have De Quervain's tenosynovitis and was using another brace that didn't provide enough support and keep my wrist from moving side to side. This brace has two splints running alongside the outsides of my wrist to keep it from moving sideways, which is exactly what I needed. The metal splint on the thumb side was a little uncomfortable because it pressed into my wrist below the thumb, but I found that wearing a thin fingerless glove under the brace helped cushion it. I would have given this brace 5 stars, but I didn't like the fact that the velcro with the hooks is on the brace and the straps are the looped side of the velcro. Because of this the hooks that aren't covered by the straps grab onto things like clothes and hair. I was able to resolve this, because the staps are super long I was able to cut off some of it to cover the exposed parts. But other than that I would recommend this product for anyone with De Quervain's tenosynovitis.

Sizing is off for me.
I tried on an extra small in this brand and same brace while at work (I work with DME), and I wanted to buy online to save money. This one appeared to be the same as the other but does not fit as well and is actually somewhat uncomfortable. These run a bit big so I wanted to try an extra small and feel as if that is the size my wrist needs but it has awkward molding or something. I am not 100% content.

Good support
Good support. It is not as comfortable as the Breg wrist splint that I got from my orthopedist, but it is close. I've been wearing it at night, and the pain I'd had in my thumb joints seems to be diminishing. Good product.

Really helps stabilize the wrist
The only negative I have discovered is not the fault of the brace...the Velcro grabs every dog hair and spec of lint within a mile radius and really, really doesn’t want to let go of it! But the brace does for me exactly what I need to protect my wrist while it tries to heal from tenosynovitis.

Did not immobilize thumb for UCL surgery. Good quality materials though.
