I have these installed on my firewood holders in my yard. They seem to be holding up, always work all night long. Have only had them a few months, but working and provide a good amount of light, not like other solar lights. Bright and have remotes but I dont feel the need to use the remotes, most of the time. Set it and forget it.

UPDATE: I tested these lights after sunset (it was pitch black outside) to see if the issue goes away and it did not. Same behavior as what was mentioned below. I'm thinking these are duds. Keep reading the rest of the review for more context. I'm not sure if these are duds or I'm missing a key piece of information but this solar light combo over promises and under-delivers. First the good: the ease of use and setup of these lights is very straightforward. It's exactly what you would expect and the 16 ft charging cable means you have a lot of leeway for where you can hang the lights. The adjustable angle of luminescence for these lights is more than sufficient for home use. The 3 brightness settings are also fairly easy to understand and follow the instruction manual accurately. The motion sensor on these lights also works well for my needs and covers the area I need for my shed. Now, the bad (and most impactful): The lights do not turn on at all when connected to the solar panels. I've tested this functionality during the day both while connected to the panels and in full sun and disconnected from the panels. When disconnected, the lights work as expected. However, as soon as I connect the solar panel the lights turn off and do not come back on. No matter how many times I press the button on the back (I even tried to hold it to see if it was an undocumented process) or wave my hand in front of the sensor, they do not turn on when connected to solar. The remote controls follow the same principle: working fine when disconnected from solar, no response when connected to solar. I don't want to have to keep disconnecting the solar power in order to have a functional light. But maybe I misunderstood how these were supposed to work? Help me make sense of it!

I’ve got this put outside on my pergola because there’s no power out there. I like that the sun charges it up and at last all night and it comes with the remote so you can have it come on automatically. You can have it night light on and come on brighter you can have it just turned on. It’s very good. It comes in a pack of two. I’ve only used one so I have a spare for the future I definitely recommend this if you have the sun so it can charge and you need a lighter where you don’t have power.

Updated review: The replacement worked. While the instructions weren’t clear, I got both to work. The motion detection is sensitive and the lights provide excellent coverage to some darker areas of my yard. Original review: The instructions for use weren’t very clear but I got one light to work. The other one just flickers like a strobe. Sending it back for a replacement. Definitely not a high quality item. The one that works seems decently bright.

I mounted one on the outside of my portable building (my sewing room) for exterior lighting in the dark and it works perfectly! Very bright and can detect motion a decent distance away, plus it was very easy to install!

All night light is dim and barely lights up anything unless very close to object. The motion light is much brighter but short lived
