Ideal for a budding scientist
It was a birthday present for an 8 year old boy. He was thrilled to bits with it and looking forward to doing the experiments with his dad.

Gave away as a gift at a church function. Hope they liked it

Fascinating
The experiments look interesting. My grandsons are 11 and very bright but it appears there will be a lot of adult guidance required. I would worry that the kit is too advanced for an 8 year old. It does help that the boxes of small parts are color coded to match the page in the instruction booklet they correspond to.
