Perfect soap for a deep cleanse. Great fragrance and leaves my skin squeaky clean. Very basic type of soap and nothing fancy but works great. I use lotion after every shower so I don't know how this moisturizes my skin but I smell great and feel clean every time. The price is low and I like the fact I can buy just two bars at a time without having to buy a pack of 8 bars without knowing what it's quality is.

I didn’t realize Safeguard also produces this deep cleansing, antibacterial soap until recently.I know Safeguard Soap has been around for many years - I consider this “old school” soap. It actually reminds me of when I was a kid and I’d stay at my grandparents house and shower there, as this was the soap they kept around.Safeguard is very compatible with my skin as I’ve never had any irritation from using it. I’ve now used this “Deep Cleansing, Antibacterial Soap” on both face and body. This soap suds up perfectly and rinses nicely without leaving any filmy residue. My skin feels very fresh and clean without any dryness after using it. I wouldn’t describe the scent as masculine or feminine…just a very pleasant, fresh sent. A man or woman can use this soap without concern.I’ve used Safeguard for many years and have never had any issues at all with my skin. It’s a great soap and priced nicely. Now I will add this Deep Cleansing Antibacterial Soap with my normal Safeguard Soap. Personally, I feel very comfortable recommending it. Buy with confidence.

This is the soap bar I used in the 60's and 70's. Then it was difficult to find.Thanks to Amazon, I found it, used it, and the quality is still the same.It has a lot of lather, leaves no residue on my skin, a light, clean fresh almond fragrance.

Very nice,need to reorder,didn’t dry out my hands,I always use antibacterial soap and keep it stocked in the bathroom.smells very masculine and peppery but clean. 8/10

Classic Safeguard scent and formula. Great lather, won't dry your skin and kills bacteria. A single bar will last a while. I highly recommend.

Ok, I'm not trying to be over dramatic, but I am honestly SHOCKED at what has happened. I have to be honest, we used a combination of this soap together with Nature’s Way Chlorofresh Chlorophyll Concentrate Chlorophyll Supplements. I don't know which one has performed this absolute MIRACLE, or if its both, but what I DO know is that my 18 year old son who has literally smelled like a moldy towel mixed with rotting onion musk no longer makes me want to gag when he walks by. I know that's harsh, but when I say this guy smelled SO strong for YEARS, I mean it. It was heartbreaking as a mom. He is very hygienic, showers once or twice a day, and STILL couldn't mask it. We tried every body wash, cologne, and laundry detergent trying to help the situation, but we have FINALLY found the answer.He smells good, y'all. Good! I came into his room to talk to him, and I wasn't hit in the face with a wave of stench. I inched closer...closer...and closer...still nothing. Then, in a very risky move, I put my face right up to his chest and took a sniff. I was aghast! He just smelled normal. A hint of his cologne, but no musk, no onion, no moldy towel. Just... normal.I wondered if my smeller wasn't working, so I called the brutally honest teenage girl into the room. A sister would never skip an opportunity to jab an insult at the big bro. But wait.... she stepped back...smelled again...and confirmed my suspicion. He smelled good!!!I called in dad. Same result.We did it, guys. We found it. We finally found it.I feel like I have won as a mother today.His girlfriend is going to thank me. His peers are going to thank me. My nose is already thanking me.So yes, this combo works. Does the chlorophyll turn your poop green? Yes. He confirmed that. But no other stomach discomfort, and green poop is definitely worth dealing with if it gives you these kind of results.I will forever be purchasing both of these products. (Well, at least until he moves out of the house)
