Klein Tools 1009 Multi Tool, Wire Stripper / Crimper / Wire Cutter, Long-Nose Multi-Purpose Electrician Tool

This is the nicest combo wire tool like this I've ever used. I'm sure there are nicer ones out there (spring loaded etc) but I'm cheap and these are super high quality. I think these will outlast me. If you need a tool that crimps and strips etc. don't hesitate. These are incredible for the price (compared to others).

Easy to handle, stripped perfectly with little effort, cuts well. End pliers worked well. Makes a job seamless and easy. Excellent tool!

Bought this knowing that Klein is a reputable brand. Bought this to replace my 10+ year old wire stripper. Nice clean cuts and crimps connectors as well! Must have in any tool box.

I use this as my tool of choice in my HVAC bag. I see all types of environments and routinely will be working in rain to get the job done. This tool is an absolute joy to use. It's extremely comfortable, has all the parts for crimping, cutting, and stripping I expect, and just works. My only complaint with it is it developed surface rust after the very first time I used it in wet conditions. I have no idea why, it was in my bag and not even out being used (face down so while it would have gotten wet it wasn't drenched), but the next day when I pulled it out to use it it was covered in rust. It didn't change the operation any and it still did everything exactly like it normally would (sometimes tools start to stick after being exposed to rain) but it was still surprising to me. I've been slowly migrating over to all Klein Tools and I have quite a number of them all in the exact same bag - NONE of my other Klein Tools have shown any signs of rust at all.While I'm willing to live with it because they're just so comfortable to use an do everything I want, for those of you in wet environments you might want to keep this in mind before purchasing.

I noticed that the tool is sharp. For both the strippers and wire cutters. The nose of the pliers would be good for bending and pulling. The crimpers are good for the insulated and non-insulated terminals. The looping holes are great for looping wire. All in all a great tool for electricians and hvacr techs. I just got mine and love it (made in USA) all the more to love Klein. They (Klein) said that every single tool that they have and make will be made in USA. I hope that they keep their promise on this cause I will keep on buying more Klein tools. As I said before it is good for hvacr and electricians but also good for those needing these pliers for their trade.

The tool is fine, works to do what it's supposed to. It's a little tight, but that's not a problem at all. Note that this isn't the model with the spring, so you have to manually open it up after stripping or cutting.
