Quality is very good - my three stars is because of the price
Three stars feels a little unfair given this is a very good item, but the price is the killer here. I paid 315.90 for the N150, 8GB DDR4, 256GB SSD option. It currently appears that this option is not available and the current, base model is 16GB+512GB at ยฃ115 more. The unit has a nice, compact form, useful twin HDMI outputs, good 2.5gbe ethernet and well-fitted, supplied (optional use) mounting plate. The feel and finish is very good. However I didn't carry out very thorough tests of the performance, as I quickly returned it. I bought it with the intention of replacing a 2016 fanless mini PC limited to Windows 10 but found that, for the low-demand use of HASS dashboards and light web streaming, the upgrade didn't justify the expense. This may not apply to more intensive use and the upgraded ethernet is particularly welcome. But the cost of memory and storage has increased so dramatically that the upgrade option just isn't tempting. It's a little unfair in that this is a good quality item but, at over four hundred pounds, it's a good 30-50% more expensive than it should be. And this isn't really the manufacturer's fault as it reflects the current, vastly inflated cost of memory and storage which simply makes this - otherwise very good - product, uncompetitive. Hacking my old unit to run Windows 11 or simply installing Linux for the non-Windows specific tools I need, will offer me a better route until domestic memory and storage pricing gets real. At a lower price it'd easily justify 4 or 5 stars.

Absolute silence more than pi-hole
I deleted Windows, installed Ubuntu minimal server, and installed pi-hole. Then I ran a bunch of Python scripts that run every hour. Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ couldn't handle Python scripts, but this little device runs like a bee.

Way too hot, 70 celcius it will cook itself and stuff will fail. ( great support upped 1 to 5 stars)
Update 12-17-25: Minix contacted me, and after lengthy conversations took it back and sent me a Minix Aero Z150 (very similar specs just two differences: Aero has a sata cable for taking a second 2.5" drive, but I think due to this the NVMe is slower, a single channel (v1.3x1). Raising rating from 1 star to 4.8 (rounded to 5) for excellent support. Excellent, responsive and polite support! ZERO bloatware or trials, Wonderfuuly clean (both fanless and Aero unit) so fanless had one NVMe M.2 slot only. As an IT person I bought some Beelink and GMKtec units, Beelink was fine, GMKtec was awful! Tons of bloatware/trials on GMKtec (28 languages of MS Office and MS OneNote, took me a solid two hours to remove, HP is also bad, Dell not too bad but some, but GMKtec M6 and G3plus was horrid). One wish list thing would be in a future BIOS / UEFI update make it a choice of faqster 4 channel NVMe or extra 2.5" sata drive slot. This may be doable this may not. Original review: Fanless unit runs too hot, expect 55-65c (NVMe and CPU) on boot up and any other mild use. Idle all night it goes down to a low of 50c. Any use at all and temp goes up and takes hours to go down. NVMe is hotter than desired after hours and hours of no use. Goes up to 70 celsius with any heavy use. Design max temperature of NVMe in general is 70C max... I would return but I did not get to testing it before 30 day return window closed. I bought a 120mm fan (AC infinity) that pulls power from USB. That being on 24/7 makes it tolerable heat wise (fan blowing up and set to low). Total and complete fail if fanless. I was gonna buy dozens if it worked (IT guy here) but run this, is no good. Maybe a very low end, low heat from an Atom CPU, but this was a total fail.

Great but for the right use case
This is a great little mini PC for more basic office tasks or to use as a home theatre PC (my use case). I think it could also be great to run as a server for home assistant or other not too demanding services. It has a 2.5G Ethernet port which could facilitate faster file/media transfer given the proper network setup. The WiFi is also quite fast, sitting next to my router I am able to get similar speeds as on another PC plugged in to the router with a 1G Ethernet connection. The mini PC is passively cool which means it has zero fans (zero moving parts in fact) making the computer run completely silent. For me, using this as a home theatre pc, the absence of extra noise is great as there are no loud fans humming while watching quiet scenes in a movie or show. As it is passively cooled, it uses the PC chassis for dissipating heat, this makes the exterior of the PC quite hot while it is running, not hot enough to burn or hurt but too hot to comfortably hold it in your hands. I actually keep it up on its side to get more area open to fresh air. With that said, the CPU seems to sit around 65-75C at normal operation, not ideal but also not really an issue, especially considering it makes zero noise. It has dual HDMI ports and plenty of connectivity for other devices. It also has WiFi and Bluetooth built in so can easily connect to any network and devices. Probably the biggest drawback for this PC is the underpowered CPU, the Intel N150 is 4 cores/ 4 threads and easily gets overwhelmed. It is a more modern CPU so it actually doesn't feel too bad even when its pinned at 100% utilization (compared to an older CPU which comes to a crawl when fully utilized). For example, while doing Windows updates, the CPU was showing 100% on all cores in Task Manager but I was still able to browse the web and do other basic tasks on the computer. However, doing the initial Windows updates after setting up the PC took hours, I have seen this process take around 15 min on faster hardware. Overall, I think this is a pretty great little PC but only for the right task. It can handle basic office work really well, the dual HDMI ports make it easy to connect to two monitors, the 2.5G RJ45 port provides above average network capabilities, and offers great connectivity with the USB ports, Bluetooth, WiFi 6, and micro SD slot. For me, using this mostly as a media playback device, it has been great so far. I can stream media in 4K from Plex, Prime Video, Netflix, and Youtube well.
