Good looking and easy to fit
These are good looking bolts suitable for medium level security like a gate or shed. Finished in a satin black body with chromed/polished steel bolt and combination wheels they're decorative enough to be used inside too. They seem very sturdy and the wheels for the combination turn easily. The combination out of the box is set to the usual 0000 but is easy to set to whatever you want. Manufacturing quality is good: no sharp edges or burrs and everything slides smoothly. All necessary fixings are provided, including security screws that can't be easily undone once they're set. Actual fitting is a doddle: just make sure you line everything up properly first time as those security screws mean you won't get a chance to twiddle with positioning. I found some double sided tape a big help.Currently £19.99 they're obviously a bit more expensive than a plain bolt but they're really intended to replace a padlock and hasp and in that context they're pretty good value.
