I was shockly suprised by the quality of the camera and the image it created. For context, I'm coming over from a Sony handheld that is at the end of its life (10+ years). I would stick it on a tripod and record anything that I was also photographing (mostly engagements), so when I found out that the camera would not work, I took the chance on this camera just to capture high quality, 4K video of the engagement I was shooting in a few days. The camera arrived, the batteries charged quickly, and the camera mounted to the tripod with no issues. Even better, the focus adjusted to when the couple got into their final position, so the video was clear, crisp, and focused perfectly. And I even noticed that zooming in on the video did not introduce a lot of grain into the image quality. All around a great camera, I'd look into it if you think that you don't want to spend a ton of money, while also not compromising on image quality.

I bought this before traveling. I tested a few pictures and videos when the camera arrived. It seemed great. I was initially satisfied with the quality for the price. While on our trip I took videos and photos as expected. Day 1 seemed fine. I never took out the memory card or tampered with the camera in anyway. But on the morning of Day 2, I accessed the viewing mode to look through my pictures, and half the pictures and videos were gone. Other photos were damaged or corrupted in some way. Again, I did not remove the memory card or tamper with the photos in any way. I tested the camera further and the camera was inconsistent, failing to store video recordings during 4 of my 5 attempts. I'm really disappointed since those are lost memories I had wanted to capture on camera.

I ordered this camera to take photos during a research trip upstate. Overall, the quality of both the camera and its pictures were good, clearer than my phone. The battery life on the camera was about 3-4 hours long once fully charged. While lacking there, it is made up for by coming with an extra battery, which is an easy swap. The camera also came equipped with a 32GB SD card, which allowed me to take both photos and short video clips. Overall, a fine value camera meant for novice photography.

My daughter got this on her 12th birthday. It's a great beginner camera so she could get used to trying different settings and filters. She's 14 now. It still works great and she's still using it. Great value. Has a nice little case to carry in also.
