The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried out several brands of IPL, but this one stands out as my favorite. It’s incredibly fast, with more flashes than others, which means it covers more area in less time. Additionally, the inclusion of two extra replacement heads is a great bonus.

Not a fan of this one at all. I don;t like the shape of it. It seems like it would work better if you were using this on someone else. I found it quite cumbersome when using this on myself. It's also much less powerful than laser that are much cheaper. It works. It seems well enough made, but you can do much better for the money.

I got this MLAY Hair Removal Device and we used it on different types of body hair (face, back, arms, male, female) to see the results. Please note that these type of devices need repeated treatments, especially in the beginning, before you start noticing a change in hair growth. Also, results may vary depending on skin color, hair color, and type of hair. Soft thin hair seems to remove easier than thicker and sturdier hair - example: back hair takes noticeably longer to get results.From what I understand the light pulses weaken the hair follicle to reduce or eliminate hair growth.Does it work? I'd say yes it does have a positive effect and weakens/removes hair over time and it saves you from going to an expensive hair removal salon. Does it remove all hair? No it doesn't completely remove sturdier/thicker hair but it does seem to weaken it - maybe prolonged use will improve removal.Operation is pretty simple: first shave off the hair since you want to treat the follicle. Then turn on the device and select the power setting 1 through 5, put the device on the skin with hair and push the button. Move the device across the skin area while pulsing the IPL laser light. Make sure to use the included glasses (or dark sunglasses) and don't look directly in the flash because it is super bright. The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying that I'm not a professional aesthetician or laser hair removal employ so I may not know as much about these different devices as others may. That being said, I'll just speak from my experience with the machine. First, I need to point out that I thought the foldable sun glasses are super neat (hence all of the photos. Haha!)! The kit comes with a razor but I actually just used my usual 5 bladed razor (thick, dark hair) that I already had. I also waited 24 hours after shaving before using this hair removal device, as opposed to the suggested two hours from the instructions just to decrease my chances of skin sensitivity. I also have been using it mostly at level 1, sometimes level 2. I do this so I can go over each area a few more times and this seems to work well for me. For instance, I made this video last night and now it's been 48 hours since I last shaved my legs and they are super smooth! Usually by day two my leg hair gets noticeable stubble. That just shows me that this device is definitely working! The red flash would go off when it can to where more hair grows and I would every so often smell the faintest burning smell. I've actually had the small hairs above my lip professionally laser removed in the past and I would smell the same smell which was actually another positive sign to me that this was working (weird, I know).I am aware that this will take several times to fully remove the hair follicles but what I'm seeing so far, I'm very pleasantly surprised and happy with. I should also mention that I had no adverse effects from this (skin irritation and/or burning). It's a pricier item but I feel worth it considering how well it works. The total product has a little weight to it but the handheld portion of it was light enough weight to comfortably hold it for the entire session of both my legs. As I mentioned before, I did go over each area about 3 times at level 1 and the whole process took me maybe about 20 minutes. I made sure to avoid using this over my tattoos as that is what the instructions listed as a warning. It also mentions that this should not be used on darker skin. Just some things to keep in mind if your deciding on purchasing this. I personally would highly recommend this hair removal gun!

I've been using this device for a few weeks now and I'm happy with the results. The 0.5s/flash speed makes sessions quick, and the ice-cooling feature keeps it surprisingly comfortable. I appreciate the five energy levels for customizing treatment, and it's gentle enough for use all over the body.

I've had a few laser hair removers. This is one of the better ones I've had. Very nice quality. It is a plug in, not battery powered. I prefer this. Batteries can go bad over time. Plug can last basically forever, and is usually more powerful as well. This has a nice large laser area, and comes with 2 laser heads. These work best on lighter skin and darker hair. Can take a few weeks to see results. Should use this often in the first many weeks. Once things are to your liking, then just need to use it every once in a while for maintenance. I like the shape of this as well. Easy to handle and get into the right positions.

When compared to other IPL hair removal devices this has less power output. This device has a maximum power output of 17 joules whereas other IPL devices for half the price have more than 20 joules of power. I appreciate that this has a digital screen for power level indication, number of flashes, ice cooling mode indication, and auto mode indication. The handle makes holding this much easier than other brands without. Many other models have a setting for different areas on the body while this has removable filters.
