You get what you pay for!
If you're looking at this bag then this is likely the bag for you. The perfect bag for an adventurer. From their entire line up of mountain series I think this is the perfect size, it can be used as a carry on. Its got more straps and buckles than you'll know what to do with, the quality is typical Fstop top of the line. My favorite part is the bag being an empty shell, you get to your destination and you can take out your packing cubes of clothes and toss right into a drawer. No opening and closing 10 pockets with everything pilled on top of each other. This bag is super comfortable on your back with thick straps and adjustments everywhere for every size human. I wish I would have gotten a medium icu with a small icu, this way I think both would fit into bag at same time. My large ico and small icu don't fit inside together. Very happy with the bag and you won't regret buyign this one.

Best travel/backcountry backpack hands down!!
Im a professional outdoor/ landscape photographer and over the years have shuffled through different camera bags. Because of the nature of my work finding a camera bag that suits well in the rugged conditions I work in has proven to be quite difficult over the past few years. but let me tell you, the F-stop bag is a game changer. The F-stop Tilopa is essentially a backcountry trekking bag made for photographers. Its interior is fully customizable to fit your specific gear as well as fit other things like extra clothes and camping gear. Its comfortable, durable and keeps all my gear safe and organized. It also has been amazing for traveling!! The outer shell of the bag is water resistant and so far haven't had any problems with leeks what so ever. As much of my photography work is focused on the outdoors and hard to reach places I couldn't recommend this bag more.

Nice Bag But....
Very well made bag. Looks nice. My only problem with it is that the opening for the camera gear is really small. Also for an expedition bag it feels a little cramped inside for camera gear, telephoto lens, and my other gear i bring on expeditions. I would have gotten f-stops 70l bag, but it only comes in black. I have packed it but have yet to take it on an expedition. I will update as soon as that is done.

My favorite camera bag. Period.
Hauling gear safely, efficiently, and comfortably is so important to me. I’ve tried a bunch of different bags and this is by far my favorite. Swapping out ICUs based on the project need is great. I use it for travel (work and play), hiking, camping, and bring it on to every job (filmmaking) I’m on—it is so versatile. For travel, I typically use the small icu for essential camera gear (camera, 3 lenses, memory cards) and pack clothes in the rest of the bag easily for 7-10 day trips. For local filmmaking jobs, I use the large pro ICU, and it fits everything I need in it—cameras (2), lenses, monitors, cards, NDs, etc. The frame in the bag makes it very comfortable for heavier loads and/or long hikes. I appreciate the versatility that this backpack offers. This bag was built to last. It is durable, the company has great customer service, it the bag just looks awesome. 5 stars all around.

The bag works well
I hiked some rugged terrain in arizona. Mingus mountain. Lose of up and twists. The pack fit well and worked more like a traditional hiking pack rather than a camera bag.I’m sure in the next generation the side pockets would be great with the addition of mesh pockets or mesh slots so small items like batteries or other items can free up space in the icu area or could compartments above the icu area.I understand design is an evolution and not just a one stop process.

Great all around
This is a great bag for all-around use. It's large enough to carry ample gear but small enough to fit into standard luggage compartments. It's comfortable and the ability to customize ICUs gives great flexibility in how and what the pack can be used for.

The bag you’ve always wanted to adventure with
I’ve been using this bag for a month now and absolutely love it. It’s the best way to pack your gear when you do not want to compromise any part of your shoot. With the included ICU, I’m able to fit a 5D Mark IV (with grip), 1Dx, 400mm f 5.6 L, 70-200mm 2.8 IS L, 2X Doubler, 50mm 1.2, 16-35mm. Chargers, batteries and shutter cable. Strapped a Gitzo Tripod to the center and hoofed it in the snow to do some landscapes and wildlife. Weight was really well distributed, snow all over it and gear stayed relatively warm till I got to my first shooting spot.As we have to knock something in the review, the Pro-ICU that is included basically takes up the whole bag. It’s the one I’d want but do not think you’re going to store much in the top compartment. Basically like a tarp or a wind breaker are all it has extra room for.

I can just pick it up and go be on location for the most part.
Love it.

Very comfortable & Durable
From the start, carrying video camera, DSLR, gimbal, lenses, and more is very easy with the fit of this pack. I am 182 cm tall, and the pack fits me perfectly. The extra padding on the shoulder straps and hip straps is very comfortable when climbing up/down steep slopes. I have used this pack on photo shoots at the top of peaks, on the beach, and in urban settings. So far, the material is very durable and easily withstands abrasions against tree branches, jagged rocks, wet sand, and asphalt. Haven't used it under rainy/snow conditions yet. This design includes so many straps and D-rings that I thought I wouldn't need, but while packing for a photo shoot, I quickly realized how useful those extra straps and D-rings would be. The designers of this pack must be seasoned photographers themselves, or have listened intently to user feedback. In addition to camera gear, I usually go out with my border collie, so being able to have extra space/pockets for her water and food in addition to all my own gear has been great. Only regret that I didn't find this pack sooner. I could have saved a lot of money by not buying several other cheaper brands I tried to get by with.
