The kamado vent works great. I like that now I have two choices for closing off the top of the cooker, the Daisy wheel and the sliding cover. I wish it had a handle for lifting it off. I installed one by drilling a hole on each of the two tabs and installing a thick wire through one tab and over to the next one. Kamado cooking is great now.
