FANSING316L Surgical Steel Snake Piercing Hoop for Conch Piercing

This is everything that I want. Gives a classy mysterious vibe. Quality seems great for price! But holding it to my current conch ring, I can see even the 10mm is too big of a diameter for my ear. Looks like I need a 9mm.. hard to come by. Sad for me :( Clasp/closure is sturdy, and yet easy enough to open and close without a fight. Soooo bummed it’s not in my size. 5 stars for the right ear (:

I love this little hoop. It’s really cute, but it was WAY too small for my conch. It looks about the same size at what I normally put in my helix which is about 6mm. It stays in place, I never take it off even in showers, so it is pretty secure and not easy to just pop off. It clicks together nicely. I have a nickel allergy, but have had no issues wearing this so no irritation.

While the jewelry is super cute and easy to put in/remove, sleeping in it is not comfortable at all. Generally when I wear my jewelry I leave it in for long periods of time until I decide to change it (I clean my piercings ofc but I leave the jewelry in when I do) which includes: sleeping, showering, gym, etc. This is the first hoop I've bought for my conch and it is a little on the snug side. My conch dies sit a little more into the center of my ear, so I'd yours is over to the side (if you use this for your conch) it might fit better. It does squeeze my ear in a little when the jewelry is fully clasped (looks a little tight but doesnt hurt) which is comfortable during the day. Doesn't catch on anything, doesn't move to irritate, but sleeping in it isn't comfy. So if you're getting this for a cartilage piercing for long term wear, maybe opt for something less bulky OR just wear it during the day and remove at night.

Broke after a few days

This is not surgical steel it is definitely coated with something. I can only have real jewelry or pure surgical grade steel or titanium. Immediately with in a few days of wearing my ear was infected then a week of wearing caused a small boil to form that was painful and unpleasant. Bought a soild gold hoop for my ear from Etsy instead. Threw this one away.
