The velvet us quite rough/stiff and pulls out my hair when I try to pull/slide it off my pony.

Quite nice
I use them to keep my hair tidy. They work for me. I don’t like thin hairbands. It’s proved not so easy to find thicker hairbands of a good quality and price in the shops.
