I’m a makeup junkie and I’m always looking at new tools, especially for application. I knew when I saw these I’d hit the jackpot!! These are so much better than the egg-shaped makeup sponges we’ve all been using!! I use a damp one to apply my liquid foundation, which it does seamlessly!! Then I use a dry one to apply my setting powder!! They have the little handles which are perfectly placed, and because they are thin, they conform to your face shape!! And they don’t soak up all your foundation or powder!! I’m obsessed with these and they are all I use now!!! Haven’t had a single piece of them shred or even begin to fall apart and I’m an every day makeup gal!! You cannot go wrong with these!! No skill needed either - beginner friendly!! Just buy them!!

Amazing! Way better than any puff that comes included with your cushion. Happy that it came with 2 puffs.Great size and bounce on the skin, applies very evenly and smoothly.I wish it came with a little container case.

With these being touted as being 100% rubycell, my first question was, what is rubycell? I actually had to Google it to assuage my curiousity. What I found was this: "Rubycell refers to a microporous urethane sponge material developed by TOYOPOLYMER, known for its unique liquid sintering process and applications in various fields, including makeup puffs and skincare products." My next question was, what is sintering? "Sintering is a manufacturing process that uses heat and pressure to join particles into a solid mass without melting them." So that was my lesson for the day. Now, you're probably wondering--what about the puff sponges? I found that the foam-like quality of the puffs offer a smooth application for makeup. I like the oval shape and find that it is easy to apply over large smooth areas as well as in crevices. The sponge has a very light, almost rubbery feel to it (in the best way possible). I like that these are washable and reusable. After using the standard teardrop shaped applicators for years, I find these puffs superior in performance. The price point does seem a bit steep for two puffs, but the function and form of these items are really nice. Overall, these are very nice makeup applicators. 4 stars.

For years, I’ve been using a typical teardrop style sponge that you wet before applying makeup. While those types of sponges make applying foundation and concealer easy, they do soak up a ton of product.Recently, I purchased a cushion foundation that came with one of those flat sponges, and while it was okay, it wasn’t my favorite. I felt like I really had to take my time with it to blend out foundation and make sure no area of my face had too much product. Plus, they’re usually pretty small.I decided to try this version and instantly fell in love. The material and texture of this is a bit different — more flexible — and is bigger than the sponges that come with a lot of cushion foundations. I dampen it before use and find that it doesn’t soak up a lot of product, and it’s quick and easy to apply foundation. I’ve used one for a few weeks now, and it’s still holding up very well. I’m happy that this comes in a two pack, and I’ve already purchased a backup.

I like how this smooths out my complexion products without picking up any product. I am typically more of a brush girl, but this doesn’t leave behind any strokes. I love how soft it is and easy to clean. The strap makes it secure and the size is generous while still able to bend and get into creases and small areas.

Very good foundation puff but a bit pricey

This is the best blending tool I've used; even better at a seamless finish than a beauty blender! Its like a thicker version of the pads that come with cushion compacts. The material is so bouncy and soft it's super fun to use. Best part is that it blends make up super beautifully. Blends so well my make up looks seamless. Its washable and pretty thick so I think it'll last a while. It seems like it will be fully worth the price for the two sponges since they wash and dry well.
